Chilling 911 audio captures a dispatcher describing a “woman screaming and crying” moments before influencer Sara Gibson was found shot dead in a murder-suicide by her husband, weeks after she branded him a pedophile in a viral TikTok.
Cops were called to Gilson’s Oklahoma home late Thursday after a 911 call from a male, whom authorities lost contact with.
“I’m trying to reach him back, but I could hear a female in the background screaming and crying,” the dispatcher is heard reporting in the audio first obtained by TMZ.
The dispatcher reports hearing “some sort of loud bang in the background” — while making clear they were aware of shocking allegations against the influencer’s husband, Jeremiah “Shawn” Duffey, who was on the run after being accused of molesting a 15-year-old girl on a team he coached.
A dispatcher is heard referring to “a male that we were looking for a few weeks ago after he got caught kissing a juvenile.”
The estranged couple was found dead at Gilson’s home in Owasso after her son called 911 to report “his stepfather had shot his mother,” according to KTUL, which did not say how old the child was, beyond that he is a minor.
The shocking murder-suicide came soon after Gilson, 43, went public with the accusations against Duffey, 48, whom she had a restraining order out against and had reported as being armed and suicidal.
Following the trend of pretending to film a Netflix documentary, Gilson said hers was “about my soon-to-be ex-husband who I just found out is a pedophile.”
“I wish I was joking,” she captioned the now-viral video.
Duffey, a youth basketball coach, was accused of kissing and touching a 15-year-old girl on his team, as well as inviting her to his hotel room and offering her money to “keep her quiet,” according to a complaint by the alleged victim’s mother.
Gilson previously filed for two protective orders against Duffey in 2021, as well as a third last month, which had been extended through Aug. 24, according to court documents obtained by the Oklahoman.
In the most recent filing, she alleged that he had a gun, had threatened suicide, and “went on the run,” according to the filing.
Duffey was immediately ordered to leave the family home and stay 100 yards away from Gilson at all times, according to court records.
