3 New Paramount+ Movies With Great Rotten Tomatoes Scores (May 2026)

Paramount+ subscribers are getting their money’s worth in April with an incredible selection of movies.

It’s truly impressive how many of the newly added films have stellar reviews and stand among the best movies ever made.

There were so many to choose from that the Watch With Us team had to narrow it down to three new Paramount+ movies with great Rotten Tomatoes scores.

Our selections for April include an Oscar-winning film, a boxing drama and a delightful crime comedy/drama.

‘Million Dollar Baby’ (2004)

Rotten Tomatoes Score: 90

Hilary Swank and Morgan Freeman won Best Actress and Best Supporting Actor, respectively, for their roles in Million Dollar Baby. Clint Eastwood was nominated for Best Actor, but didn’t win. Instead he had to settle for winning Best Director and Best Picture. Truthfully, he did deserve the acting nod as well, but this was one of the highlights of his legendary career.

Eastwood plays Frankie Dunn, an aging boxing trainer who has no interest in teaching a woman how to fight, even though Maggie Fitzgerald (Swank) is very insistent about it. Frankie’s friend, Eddie “Scrap-Iron” Dupris (Morgan), helps pave the way for the partnership between Frankie and Maggie. This is a boxing story, but the real heart of the film is the father/daughter bond that develops between the two main characters.  They really love each other, and that’s what gives the film its power in its darkest moments.

Million Dollar Baby is now streaming on Paramount+.

‘Once Upon A Time In The West’ (1968)

Rotten Tomatoes Score: 96

Once Upon A Time In The West isn’t just a great spaghetti Western — it’s also one of the best Westerns ever made. When Eastwood declined to reteam with Sergio Leone, the director cast Charles Bronson in the lead as a new character, who was nicknamed Harmonica. He’s got a score to settle with an outlaw named Frank, who was portrayed by Western icon Henry Fonda.

It can’t be conveyed just how terrifying Fonda is in this film, as he willingly undercuts his former heroic screen persona. Frank’s out to claim some valuable land for himself, and possibly the woman who owns it, Jill McBain (Claudia Cardinale), as well. Harmonica soon finds an ally in Manuel “Cheyenne” Gutiérrez (Jason Robards), and their partnership is the stuff of legends. This is a cinematic epic that few Westerns have ever come close to matching.

Once Upon A Time In The West is streaming on Paramount+.

‘Catch Me If You Can’ (2002)

Rotten Tomatoes Score: 96

If there was ever a movie that was powered by pure charm, it’s Catch Me If You Can. Director Steven Spielberg adapted the life story of Frank Abagnale Jr. (Leonardo DiCaprio), an aimless young man who discovers that he has a talent for fraud.  Frank starts his life of crime by forging checks, but soon moves on to much bigger capers while posing as a pilot and a doctor.

Tom Hanks costars as FBI Agent Carl Hanratty, the man who relentlessly pursues Frank for so long that he actually comes to care about him as a friend. Meanwhile, Frank wins the heart of a woman, Brenda Strong (Amy Adams), but the weight of his numerous lies may come crashing down on both of them when they least expect it.

Catch Me If You Can is streaming on Paramount+.
