A Wisconsin man allegedly imprisoned and sexually assaulted three young girls and subjected them to horrific torture and conditions — with one victim forced to drink from a puddle in a dingy basement to survive, according to a report.
Milwaukee resident David Boyd, 64, allegedly abused two sisters for several years when the girls went to live with his girlfriend, who was friends with their mother, according to court documents filed Saturday and obtained by the Kansas City Star and other local outlets.
The youngest victim, who started dealing with the alleged abuse when she was 8 years old in 2020, told authorities Boyd would “routinely” cut her arms and other body parts with a knife and even trafficked her to other men, the complaint states.
When his girlfriend was out of town, Boyd allegedly chained the child to a pole in the basement of the house, the complaint states, according to the KC Star.
She was only given a piece of bread and had to drink water from a puddle where the floor slightly dipped during the cruel captivity, authorities alleged.
The basement was lit by just one light bulb and had metal chains hanging from wooden beams, according to photos taken by police during an April 16 search.
The girl told investigators she was assaulted “too many times to count,” according to the court docs.
The victim’s older sister and cousin, who would visit the home occasionally, were also repeatedly sexually assaulted by Boyd dating back to at least 2015, they alleged to police, according to the KC Star.
The accused sicko first allegedly assaulted the cousin until she “said she had enough,” and then he moved on to the older sister around the time she was 5 years old, according to the documents reported on by the newspaper.
The alleged abuse against her didn’t stop until she was 12 in 2022 and moved away from the home, the complaint states.
The police first began their probe in January after a concerned foster parent of one of the sisters reached out to authorities, according to WTMJ.
Boyd denied wrongdoing and claimed to police that the victims were “jealous that he was a father to his daughter but not to them,” prosecutors allegedly said.
But when he was shown a drawing of the dimly lit basement, he “immediately jumped up, stating he needed to use the bathroom or he was going to urinate his pants,” the complaint states.
Boyd faces charges of reported sexual assault of a child, physical abuse of a child with a dangerous weapon, trafficking a child, and false imprisonment.
He is being held on $100,000 bail.
