New York men have a new reason to squawk like the cock of the walk.
The “Big” Apple is, apparently, no misnomer as its home has been crowned as one of the top 5 states with the longest penises, according to a new report.
And there are hard facts to substantiate the claim.
“Penis size is often treated like a cultural fixation, but it’s rarely discussed with real numbers attached,” wrote study authors for Bespoke Surgical, a sex health clinic in Manhattan.
Researchers surveyed over 3,000 US adults and asked participants with penises to self-report their flaccid and erect lengths in order to find the median size of members in each state.
And, surprisingly, Iowa took the No. 1 spot for boasting the biggest corns on the cob. Men of the midwestern lands measure out to an impressive 7.31 inches, on average, at full erection, per the risqué ranking.
Perky penises in South Carolina and Arizona secured the second- and third-place positions on the podium, extending out 7.04 and 7.01 inches, respectively.
And although the fellas of the Empire State didn’t take the gold, silver nor bronze medals in the unofficial pickle-length games, New Yorkers are still coming up roses with an average span of 6.72 inches, earning it the No. 4 spot on the list.
It’s an honor that’s not big shocker as guys local to Gotham have been dropping between $10,000 to $20,000 on penis filler injections, a newly trendy beauty treatment, for added area. And the jabs just might be getting the job done as New York knobs previously failed to make it into the top 10 count in earlier findings.
Chaps on the opposite coast have a reason to gloat, too. Californians stand proud at a prominent 6.15 inches. But, sadly, the decent standing wasn’t enough to earn the state top 5 status.
The well-endowed dudes of Indiana rounded out foremost roundup with a solid 6.68-inch showing.
And, when it comes to penises, what’s showing without growing?
Iowa, yet again, took top marks for producing men whose penises grow the most when transition from flaccid to erect, jumping up a whopping 3.76 inches during arousal.
South Carolina, Arizona, Indiana and Maine, too, landed in gaggle of greatest growers.
New York, however, came up slightly short, rising up to only 3.34 inches at full mast.
The size of the ship notwithstanding, investigators found that 31% of folks, both men and women, agree that the length of their partner’s package doesn’t really matter.
In fact, 89% feel society puts too much emphasis on penis size, with 94% of Gen Zers, young adults under age 28, arguing that the societal focus on phalli is “excessive.”
Rather than fixating on length, width and girth, the insiders discovered that a man’s performance is more important than the dimensions of his manhood.
“An overwhelming 96% [of respondents] said being a good or skilled lover matters more in bed than penis size,” said the experts. “When respondents were asked what matters most in bed, emotional connection (63.9%) and chemistry/compatibility (63.5%) both outpaced physical attraction (38.4%).”
So, wannabe-ladykillers can breathe easy if they’ve got little wee-wees.
“It’s no secret we’re culturally obsessed with inches. Guys inflate, round up, add a little ‘creative math,’” said Dr. Evan Goldstein, founder of Bespoke Surgical, in a statement.
“But when it actually comes down to it, people care a lot more about connection,” he continued, in part. “Compatibility and skill matter a whole lot more than length or girth.”
