Sean ”Diddy” Combs could still be charged in connection to the murder of Tupac Shakur, but only if new evidence emerges, according to the district attorney running the case.

Clark County District Attorney Steve Wolfson has not ruled out pursuing Combs, 56, following the conviction of Compton gang boss Duane “Keefe D” Davis for Tupac’s 1996 drive-by murder.

Davis previously told police in 2008 that Combs offered a $1 million bounty to kill Tupac and Suge Knight.

Wolfson left the door open on Combs when asked about the allegation Tuesday at the Las Vegas Regional Justice Center.

“At this point, we don’t believe we have sufficient evidence to charge anyone else with the death of Tupac Shakur. But, like any other case, if we come into more information more evidence we can always consider filing additional charges. But today, we don’t believe that’s the appropriate move to make,” Wolfson said.

A jury heard recorded audio of Davis, in two police interview accuse Diddy of allegedly offering the $1 million for the head of Tupac.

Davis claimed he met Diddy at the famous Hollywood eatery Greenblatt’s Deli on the Sunset Strip during a 2008 interview with LAPD.

“Man I want to get rid of those dudes – man,” Keefe alleged Combs said during their conversation. “Puffy was scared and was scared of the dude period,” he added.

“We wanted a million,” Keefe told cops, adding that “we will wipe their a— out quick you know, it is nothing.” When asked by an officer “who brought up the amount of one million dollars”, Keefe replied “sh** he did. It wasn’t me.”

Keefe repeated that Combs had several alleged conversations with him to “kill both of them.”

Combs has reportedly denied any connection to Tupac’s murder.

“Diddy had absolutely nothing to do with the Tupac murder. He did not pull the trigger or set it up. It would be a waste of time if prosecutors ever called him as a witness,” a source close to Combs recently told TMZ.

Davis, 63, was found guilty of a single count of murder with a deadly weapon with the intent to promote further or assist a criminal gang in Shakur’s killing after a jury took just three hours to decide.

They found Davis liable of organizing a group of crips gang members to seek revenge for his nephew, Orlando Anderson, who had been beaten by ‘Pac and others at the MGM Grand earlier that night.

Judge Carli Kierny will decide on Davis’ sentence, he’s facing life behind bars without bail to be decided on October 13.

Davis confessed multiple times in police interviews, media chats and a memoir to being the “shot caller” for the Compton Crips gang which hunted down and shot ‘Pac in Vegas in September 1996.

Diddy is currently serving a four year jail sentence for two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution.
