She’s not necessarily a bad egg, just a funky frequent flyer.
While packing a protein-rich lunch for a lengthy flight might seem like an eggs-cellent idea, one passenger’s foul foodstuffs has sickened trippers praying for an emergency landing.
“Just want to share what the person next to me on my plane ride brought as their snack,” content creator Missy McIntosh announced before revealing the jet-setter’s stinky treat to nearly 550,000 TikTok viewers.
“So these are four hard-boiled eggs and two corn on the cobs,” said the blonde, adding that she took in whiffs and sniffs of the pungent spread all throughout the two-hour takeoff.
“What isn’t pictured are actually three more hard-boiled eggs, unpeeled,” continued McIntosh, “and an entire boiled potato.”
It’s rustic grub that, at face value, seems healthy and hearty — but nauseated naysayers are convinced the “diabolical” bites left the aircraft smelly and farty.
“SEVEN HARDBOILED EGGS???,” questioned a confused commenter.
“Going full fart cannon on a plane is insane,” groaned an equally grossed-out onlooker, while others called the mid-flight meal their “worst nightmare.”
“What a stunning aroma to fill the cabin, so cool,” another wisecracked.
“Was it Gaston from ‘Beauty and the Beast’?,” a separate spectator teased, likening the unidentified culprit to the muscle-bound, meat-headed Disney villain.
“I would be throwing up,” wrote another, followed by a quip from separate jokester who teased that the guy was simply, “living his life to the fart-est.”
Cursing the clouds with an inconsiderate foodie truly stinks. Still, it happens all the time.
Be it a container of “putrid” tuna salad or a carton of fragrant Chinese food, thoughtless travelers routinely subject fellow flyers to the fumes of their nightmarish nibbles.
To avoid causing seat-mate turbulence, Jamila Musayeva, a social etiquette expert, suggests leaving eggs, fish and other offensive chow on the ground.
“Even when prepared fresh, they tend to give off a strong scent once reheated, which can quickly fill a confined cabin space,” she said of the rank eats. “Not everyone is tolerant of that smell, especially on long-haul flights. It lingers and can make nearby passengers feel nauseated.”
