Thousands of revelers filled Eastern Parkway in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn, on Monday morning for the city’s biggest celebration of Caribbean culture.
J’Ouvert kicks off the festivities before sunrise, beginning at Grand Army Plaza. The West Indian American Day Parade takes over Eastern Parkway from 11 a.m. on September 7, 2026.
