With Madrid set to host the F1 Spanish Grand Prix this September at the all-new Madring street circuit, and with major concerts from artists like Shakira, Pitbull, and The Weeknd on the horizon, all eyes are on the Spanish capital.

But new events aren’t the only reason to visit, as the city also has a number of swish new hotels for you to check into.

From a stay in Madrid’s best-known address to a property focused on music and wellness, here are the city’s hottest new hotels for 2026.

Club Metrópolis

Gran Vía is Madrid’s most famous street, and Edificio Metrópolis is undoubtedly its most famous address thanks to its Beaux-Arts style façade and iconic dome.

Since the start of the year, the beautiful property has found a new lease of life as a private members’ club and hotel: Club Metrópolis.

Home to just 19 clubs and suites, the boutique hotel is one of the city’s most exclusive.

One for foodies, outside guests can book a table at Spa de Langostas, which specialises in lobster plates, as well as Tasca Fina, a modern take on the Spanish tavern, or Barra de Oricios, which is all about seafood.

The hotel is also home to a number of members-only bars and restaurants, as well as a spa and gym.

Nômade Temple Madrid

Originally from Tulum, the Nômade Temple brand opened in Madrid this spring within the historic Hotel de las Letras.

The 85-key hotel, like its sister properties in Mexico and Ibiza, is centred around wellness and music.

Guests can pay a visit to the GÖN House of Healing, where they can book in for treatments including facials, massages, baths and scrubs. The facility also has a hammam and sauna.

On the music side of things, Nômade Temple Madrid hosts vinyl sets at Café Libre every Thursday, Friday and Saturday evening.

Urban Hive Madrid

First opening its doors to guests in April, Urban Hive Madrid might just have one of the city’s best rooftop pools.

Located on the seventh floor, the striped-floor infinity pool boasts views of the Royal Palace and Gran Vía with the Guadarrama mountains in the distance.

There are 144 rooms and suites, as well as the Gina Restaurant, which serves up Italian fare (fitting, given the original Urban Hive is in Milan), as well as Gina Bar, where mixologists prepare cocktails and mocktails.

Nobu Hotel & Restaurant

Set to open this September, Nobu Hotel Madrid will be the fifth property from the brand.

The main reason to visit is undoubtedly the tri-level restaurant, which will serve up the plates that helped make the Japanese chef Nobu Matsuhisa world famous (including that miso black cod) across the ground floor’s relaxed lounge, the first floor’s show kitchen and dining room, and the third floor’s intimate eight-seat sushi bar.

Alongside the restaurant, there will be a rooftop bar and 50 rooms and suites, as well as a spa and gym.
