A Texas burlesque and pole dancer ended up soaking her apartment after her pole came loose, knocking into her overhead sprinklers and flooding her apartment, wild viral video shows.
Asha Gilbert was practicing her moves on the pole in her Houston apartment when it suddenly detached from the ceiling.
Video from her phone shows the moment the pole comes loose from the roof, hitting an overhead fire sprinkler, which immediately blasts out water – spraying her and her dog.
“I went into shock and was completely stunned,” Gilbert said while recounting the incident to Storyful.
“My main concern was for my dog.”
Asha and her canine friend were able to get outside just as firefighters arrived to deal with the gushing sprinkler.
