Two brave teenage girls turned the tables on a predator who allegedly tried to drag them into the woods and rape them in a Connecticut state park — beating him with rocks and leaving the creep battered and bandaged in his mugshot.
Darius Moreno, 23, allegedly threatened the two girls with a knife and attempted to sexually assault them on Monday in Kettletown State Park in Southbury, according to the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection’s Environmental Conservation Police.
Moreno allegedly approached the girls with a knife and told them he was “going to [expletive] them and rob them,” Waterbury State’s Attorney Maureen Platt told the courtroom during Moreno’s arraignment on Tuesday, the CTPost reported.
The porn-obsessed sicko then tried to drag the teens into the woods by their hair and throw one of them to the ground before trying to suffocate her by pressing her head into the dirt, prosecutors alleged.
Moreno then tried to place the other girl into a choke hold, Platt described.
“It’s a horrific scene. The girls are terrified,” Platt said at the arraignment, according to the outlet.
Despite their fear, the girls fought back.
One of the teens managed to wriggle free and bravely hurled a large rock at the pervert’s head — but Moreno would not let go of the her friend.
That girl then started pelting the pedophile with rocks, eventually allowing both of them to escape and run to safety, Platt said.
Moreno, who is from out of state and was living in his car, allegedly told arresting officers he was “sorry,” admitted to liking aggressive porn, and disturbingly said that the assault was a “sexual fantasy for him,” prosecutors revealed.
His mugshot captured him wearing glasses and making a smug expression with a large bandage around his head, presumably from being hit by rocks.
He was cuffed on a slew of charges, including robbery, interfering with an emergency call, assault, strangulation, unlawful restraint, disorderly conduct, carrying a dangerous weapon, and criminal attempt at sexual assault, cops said.
Moreno was ordered held behind bars on a $250,000 bond.
