Taylor Swift just announced her 12th album, The Life of a Showgirl, and fans think they’ve already spotted the first lyrics from the new era.

As part of her announcement, Swift, 35, shared a new Spotify playlist titled, “And, baby, that’s show business for you ❤️‍🔥.” As Swifties were quick to note, this is not a line that’s ever been heard on one of the pop star’s previous 11 albums, leading fans to theorize that it’s a lyric from one of her new songs.

The playlist was teased via billboards in New York City and Nashville that featured a glittery orange background — apparently the color of Swift’s latest era — and a code taking fans to Swift’s curation. The 22-track playlist includes only Swift songs that were produced by Max Martin and Shellback, hinting that The Life of a Showgirl will be very pop-forward. Some of the songs included are “Blank Space” and “Bad Blood” from 1989, “Gorgeous” and “End Game” from Reputation and “22” and “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” from Red.

Swift announced her new album in the wee hours of Tuesday, August 12, after dropping a mysterious countdown clock on her official website earlier in the evening. The clock came after her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, and his brother, Jason Kelce, teased a very special guest on the upcoming Wednesday, August 13, episode of their “New Heights” podcast, who was later confirmed to be Swift.

Once the clock struck 12:12 a.m. ET, fans learned that Swift’s 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl, is coming later this year. While an official release date has not been revealed, the website notes that preorders of the physical album will ship before October 13.

The official cover art has not been unveiled either, with the preorder page displaying a placeholder image of a sparkling orange lock on a green background.

As Swift’s preorder page went live, the “New Heights” Instagram account also shared a clip of Swift showing the Kelce brothers her new album, the cover of which was blurred out.

“This is my brand new album, The Life of a Showgirl,” she said as she removed it from a briefcase marked with her initials.

“TS12!” Travis, 35, yelled, as Jason, 37, screamed in excitement.

Earlier in the evening, the brothers confirmed that Swift was their guest in a video where Swift complimented her boyfriend’s blue sweatshirt. “It’s the color of your eyes, sweetie,” the Kansas City Chiefs tight end quipped. “It’s why we match so well.”

Swift then grinned and said, “We’re about to do a f***ing podcast!”

The latest episode of “New Heights” drops Wednesday at 7 p.m. ET.
