Brazilian influencer Luna Ambrozevicius Abrahão was stabbed multiple times during a recent livestream.
Abrahão, 22, went live on Instagram on Monday, May 19, and during the broadcast, she was allegedly attacked by her boyfriend with a knife, per Daily Mail. The incident occured after Abrahão allegedly broke up with him.
According to the outlet, Abrahão recorded the aftermath of the attack. The tattoo and beauty content creator sustained an injured foot. She was also stabbed in the head, back and hand. Abrahão was subsequently rushed to the hospital and underwent emergency surgery.
Police are currently searching for Abrahão’s ex-boyfriend as the assailant fled the scene after the attack. The ex is facing charges of domestic violence and attempted murder.
On Thursday, May 22, Abrahão shared an update on her condition.
“It’s so good to be ALIVE! My feeling of gratitude will be eternal! GOD gave me a second chance and I will make the most of it,” she wrote via Instagram alongside a photo of her holding a bouquet of roses while in a hospital bed. “Surviving 10 stab wounds was not only a miracle, it was a rebirth.”
Abrahão added that while she was in the hospital, her 4-year-old daughter, Serena, helped her get through the tough moment.
“Amidst the pain, fear and uncertainty, I found strength in my little Serena,” she penned. “These were the worst hours of my life but when she came to mind I knew I had to live for her!”
Abrahão shared her appreciation for the doctors, nurses and first responders who helped her during her recovery. She also expressed her gratitude to her loved ones who came to her aid when the attack occurred.
“A special thanks to my neighbor Renato who stopped the bleeding until the police arrived,” she wrote. “And to my aunt Marcela who called the ambulance and picked up my daughter from school before anything could happen to her too. Eternal gratitude to my parents who stopped their lives to be by my side at this very delicate moment.”
Abrahão also thanked her supporters online for all the well-wishes they sent her way.
“I am also grateful for every prayer, every positive thought, every word of support I received. Life has shown me how fragile it is and at the same time, how strong we can be in the face of the impossible,” she said. “I’m here. And that alone is reason enough to thank God immensely EVERY DAY!”
