Philadelphia police have recovered a snuff movie purportedly showing a woman being killed at a house tied to multiple murders in the city.
The footage, found on a hard drive inside a house belonging to late pornographer Raymond “RC” Horsch, appears to show him strangling a woman at his home in the north Philly neighborhood of Olney, the Philadelphia Inquirer reported, citing police sources.
The woman’s identity has not been revealed, but police have notified a relative, sources said.
Police have not yet found the body of the woman, one of five missing females now tied to the house where Horsch lived with his son Eugene, 44, until his death in May 2025 at age 82.
Authorities are still sifting through 50 hard drives found in the home that include hundreds of thousands of videos, photographs and pages of disturbing writings.
Cops also found five urns of cremated remains and more than 20 containers of unknown chemicals and an oily substance.
Police believe they have digital evidence that three of the missing women linked to the house are dead, although as of yet, no human remains have been discovered at the property.
The house garnered national scrutiny after Eugene Horsch was arrested by police and federal agents in June. With him was a female companion, drugs, loaded firearms and a fraudulent DEA badge.
The woman was carrying an identification badge belonging to Blair Tonzelli, a woman missing since 2023.
Horsch now faces federal firearms and fraudulent credential charges but as yet has not been charged with any deaths.
In August, Philadelphia police confirmed that they had found images and videos on the hard drives of two of the missing women appearing to show them deceased with visible injuries.
The women are Maribel Fresses, last seen in 2018, and Gabrielle Amarando, last seen in 2012.
About 600,000 images and 70,000 videos were recovered, including the snuff movie. Such gruesome flicks capture a real-life slaying that is used for sexual grafification either for sale or personal use.
Investigators also uncovered over 10,000 pages of writings, manuscripts, and drawings, too, with references to serial killers and disposing of bodies.
Eugene Horsch’s defense team claims these may have belonged to his late father.
Raymond built a career out of luring female drug addicts in Philly’s Kensington neighborhood to his home and taking graphic and pornographic videos and photos of them.
His work often showed graphic violence, including drownings, hangings and stranglings, with Raymond adopting the persona of an “empathetic” serial killer who murdered drug addicts to end their pain.
Former FBI profiler James R. Fitzgerald emphasized to The Post the victimology in such a complex case, citing the background of one of the missing women tied to the house — Raymond’s ex-wife, Amy McHale, last seen in 2016.
“Someone like Amy McHale with her drug problems hanging around a guy like Raymond Horsch would put her into the level of a high-risk victim,” said Fitzgerald, who grew up in the Olney neighborhood just blocks from the house of horrors, to The Post.
He described the Olney he grew up in in the ’60s and ’70s as a “row-house neighborhood, mostly Italian, German and Irish, very very low crime rate,” before drug problems moved in.
Fitzgerald is currently investigating the unsolved murder of his friend, Joe Welsh, “about eight city blocks from where Horsch lived.”
Of the ongoing investigation into Eugene Horsch, “Past behavior is the best predictor of future behavior,” Fitzgerald said.
“If there are multiple missing women, and Eugene was found with a missing woman’s ID … apples don’t usually fall far from trees,” he said.
“It’s very likely that the son is involved in some of the same activities as the deceased father. And no doubt, through learned behavior, his regard for women and his disrespect for women, especially marginalized and vulnerable women, would probably be in the same category as his father’s,” Fitzgerald added.
Philadelphia police and lawyer for Horsch did not respond to Post requests for comment.
