WASHINGTON – Rudy Giuliani announced he’s suing Tucker Carlson over comments made during his interview with Hunter Biden regarding the origins of the now-infamous “laptop from hell.”

The former mayor charged that, during the interview, Carlson claimed he and President Trump were agents for Israeli Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu.

“He can go to hell!,” Giuliani told Newsmax in an interview.

“I wasn’t an agent for anybody but myself and the United States of America and the man I was representing. That’s been proven 40 times over. I’m gonna sue him! I don’t know what has happened to Tucker Carlson, but if he’s not working for somebody else, he’s doing a good imitation of it.”

Giuliani appeared to be referring to comments Carlson made when talking to Biden about his laptop, which Hunter claimed was part of a Russian disinformation campaign.

Neither he nor Carlson responded to The Post’s request for comment.

Carlson, in the August interview, said he had actually been offered the hard drive from the Israelis: “That came from the Israelis. I’m just telling you that they came to me with that.”

It’s unclear how Giuliani ties into that. However, shortly before Carlson made that remark, Hunter Biden was talking about the former mayor’s actions during the 2002 presidential campaign, when he visited a New Castle County, Del., police station to share files from Hunter Biden’s laptop.

At the time, Trump and Joe Biden were in a heated contest for the White House and Giuliani was Trump’s personal lawyer. He told Delaware police officials that the hard drive contained evidence of crimes.

Hunter, in the interview with Carlson, claimed Giuliani told the police the laptop contained images of minor children, which he said was “bulls–t.”

It was “an absolute, complete, and utter effing lie,” Biden said. “It had no evidence of anything other than I was a drug user.”

Giuliani claims Biden also defamed him during that interview but did not mention suing him.

“He personally defamed me, Hunter Biden did. And so did Tucker,” he said.

He then went on a rant about both Biden and Carlson.

“Now he’s saying, Hunter is, that Bibi Netanyahu set it up and at the conclusion of his saying that — Hunter, either he’s the lapdog or Tucker is — Tucker said, “I agree.” In other words, he agrees that I was and Trump was an agent for Bibi,” Giuliani said.

Biden’s office did not respond to The Post’s request for comment.

Hunter Biden sued Giuliani in September 2023 over the laptop. Giuliani shared a copy of the laptop with The Post, which broke the story in 2020. Biden claimed the former mayor violated federal and state computer privacy and fraud laws.

The suit was dropped in June 2024 after both sides agreed to dismiss the case without prejudice.
