Meghan Markle included a sweet moment with her daughter Princess Lilibet in the behind the scenes video of her As Ever brand.
On Monday, June 23, Meghan, 43, shared some footage of the making of her video promoting her new lifestyle brand.
“A little behind the scenes of @aseverofficial. Hope you enjoy your treats when they arrive this week!,” she captioned the clips via Instagram, which included a note of her writing, “Let’s do something extraordinary today!” along with Meghan picking blackberries, sifting tea and then standing on a bridge with Lilibet, 4. (Meghan shares Lilibet and son Prince Archie, 6, with husband Prince Harry.)
In the clip of her and Lilibet, Meghan is seen holding Lilibet’s back as she looks down at the water from the bridge. Meghan is holding a woven basket while Lilibet is seen with a rainbow purse.
Meghan’s first collection of As Ever products sold out in an hour in April. The former Duchess of Sussex offered a variety of goodies, including a wide assortment of lifestyle products in the entertaining and cooking space such as raspberry jam, wildflower honey with honeycomb, a variety of herbal teas and more.
Last year, Meghan announced her new lifestyle brand, As Ever, and included a picture of her and Lilibet as the brand website’s original home page.
“Being able to have my own little girl, as I’ve spent so much of my life championing the rights of girls and women, and to be able to see this as a multigenerational story — Archie is of course included in that, my husband is of course included in that — but I love the heritage feeling of it and knowing this is something that I can create in front of my daughter and teach her what it’s like to be a working mom,” Meghan told People in March. “This is something that hopefully can be part of her legacy too.”
Meghan has also previously spoken about how she would one day like to start another brand with Lilibet as well.
“I wonder if one day I’ll be in business with Lili and we’ll be building something?” Meghan shared in a conversation with Tina Knowles on her “Confessions of a Female Founder” podcast earlier this month while discussing working with your kids.
Aside from her As Ever brand, Meghan has also been busy with her new Netflix lifestyle series, With Love, Meghan, which premiered in March. The show highlights Meghan’s cooking, gardening and more with appearances by her celebrity friends including Mindy Kaling, Alice Waters and Abigail Spencer.
“It feels as though we’re just spending time together, which is what it ended up being,” Meghan told People in March, noting that the Netflix series is different from other cooking shows because it isn’t the traditional “stand and stir” format. “I’d make a recipe and say, ‘Everyone try this,’ and there are certain dishes when you just watch everyone flock in. I’d say, ‘We’ve run out of spoons!’ It ended up feeling so communal, and that’s the spirit of the show.”
