Nick Cannon and Bre Tiesi found a way to poke fun at him paying child support for his 12 kids.
Cannon, 45, and Tiesi, 35, uploaded a joint Instagram Reel on Tuesday, July 28, in which the reality star told the actor, “Nick, it’s time to pay child support.” Cannon pretended not to understand Tiesi in the skit before trying to get out of it by making believe he was Amish and mentioning the COVID-19 vaccine.
The TV host then quipped he didn’t owe child support if he has “over 10 kids,” to which Tiesi replied, “That’s only in foreign countries, like China.”
“When it’s time to start paying child support … .🚫,” Cannon captioned the post.
In addition to sharing 4-year-old son Legendary Love with Tiesi, Cannon coparents twins Moroccan and Monroe, 15, with ex-wife Mariah Carey; son Golden Sagon, 9, daughter Powerful Queen, 5, and son Rise Messiah, 3, with Brittany Bell; twins Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir, 5, and daughter Beautiful Zeppelin, 3, with Abby De La Rosa; daughter Halo, 3, with Alyssa Scott and daughter Onyx, 3, with LaNisha Cole. Cannon and Scott’s eldest child, son Zen, tragically died of brain cancer at 5 months old in December 2021.
Tiesi’s personal life became a major topic of discussion when she joined the cast of Selling Sunset in 2023. She developed an ongoing feud with Chelsea Lazkani after the latter questioned Tiesi’s relationship with Cannon.
After having to defend her partner on screen, Tiesi told Us she didn’t want Cannon featured on her hit Netflix series.
“No. I would never subject [Nick] to that. I will never subject him to a show that did not show him an ounce of respect or grace,” she said in November 2025 about the possibility of Cannon making a cameo in the future. “I would never allow that.”
The possibility was nonnegotiable for Tiesi.
“I don’t care if they said they’d give him $100 million. I would say, ‘Not a f***ing chance in hell.’ I definitely hold a grudge, so I would never subject him to that,” she explained to Us. “The crazy part is that he would do it. He would be nice enough to do it if that’s what I wanted. That’s what I love about him. But it’s a hard no for me, because they have tried.”
Tiesi recalled the challenges she faced when it came to addressing her personal life on a reality show, adding, “My first two seasons, I did not trust production. I didn’t want it. Now we’ve gotten over that and I’m slowly feeling a little bit more comfortable introducing my real life because it is controversial.”
It took a while for Tiesi to learn to deal with the public reaction.
“People do have strong opinions on how I live my life and my child. I was very cautious of that. I had to build that relationship and trust our production,” she shared. “Because I had to know that things that I really care about are going to be protected and they’re never going to be used in any other way than exactly how it happens.”
She continued: “Those are the things that I draw boundaries for. I understand featuring everything with the girls and all the other drama — whatever makes the show good. But when it comes to my real life, if you really want to see that then it needs to be respected and protected. Five seasons in, I finally feel comfortable and I can do that.”
