Netflix’s ‘Owning Manhattan’ star blasted for ‘horrifying’ remarks about NYC homeless: ‘So dystopian’

Cringing critics want this Netflix star to address her “tone deaf” mess.

Jade Shenker, 30, a real estate agent with buzzy Big Apple brokerage Serhant — and a featured wheeler-and-dealer on streaming series “Owning Manhattan” — is being digitally dragged down the concrete for perceived slights against NYC’s unhoused.

“I feel like the homeless people on the street are pretty comfortable,” the gal about town casually quipped during a recent impromptu, curbside interview with “Girls Who Sublet” — a virtual hub for gals seeking temporary lodging in Gotham.

The controversy-making comments were prompted by a question regarding the high cost of living in Manhattan — and the “minimum” amount of money residents should earn in order to keep a decent roof over their heads. Median monthly rents in the borough have recently soared to a heartburn-giving $5,125.

Screengrabs of the streetside chat quickly reached viral infamy, garnering over 16 million views — and heaps of scorn from a slew of TikTok tut-tutters, who angrily labeled the blond businesswoman “out of touch” and “gross.”

“This is so dystopian. I’m genuinely afraid,” said one freaked out commenter beneath the trending clip, reposted by Ohana NYC.

“She is out of touch,” spat another.

“This is horrifying. So tone deaf,” wrote an unamused detractor, echoing the sentiments of equally irked onlookers who called Shenker “insufferable” and “brain dead.”

Representatives for Shenker did not immediately respond to The Post’s request for a comment.

Over 350,000 New Yorkers, including 30,955 children, were estimated to be without shelter in May 2026, per the Coalition for the Homeless NYC.

The unfortunate headcount came just weeks prior to the controversial shuttering of the Mainchance homeless drop-in center in Midtown East last month.

Shenker had previously bragged to The Post about her “85 to 90-hour” workweeks, and revealed that she doesn’t pay rent — but instead depends on her boyfriend to handle their approximately $8,000 per month bill on a Financial District pad.

The ritzy realtor further boasted over the handsome salary she commands by “selling buildings,” across the boroughs, claiming her income ranges from “as low as $70,000 to as high as $1 million.”

Unsurprisingly, the seemingly smug revelation earned her additional scorn from the social media mudslingers.

“This is actually insane,” barked a faultfinder.

“What a terrible way to be,” another scolded.

“I’m a real estate agent in NYC,” chimed another. “I promise we are not all like this.  Some of us are actually good people who care.”
