A masked-up weirdo decked out in camouflage and pictured ranting into a microphone with a portable PA system has repeatedly vandalized the Polish consulate in Manhattan, police said.
Cops released pictures of the fashion-victim vandal wearing gloves, saying he first tagged the 125-year-old De Lamar Mansion in Murray Hill that houses the consulate on Wednesday around 7 p.m., cops said.
The vandal spraypainted the word “terror” in a black on a sign celebrating Polish women – before running off to parts unknown, according to cops and pictures of the incident.
The graffiti-loving goon then returned to the scene early Friday morning to tag the consulate again, police said.
Pictures posted on X show the aftermath of the trashing – with door of the consulate and a bronze statue of Polish national hero and WWII veteran Jan Karski covered in red spray paint.
Plaques and signs celebrating Polish heroes and the historic mansion were also hit, according to pictures.
Remnants of red spray paint still remained on the building’s facade Sunday morning.
On his second visit to the consulate, the vandal was seen holding a portable PA system and ranting into a portable speaker.
The photos of the suspect released by the NYPD show him wearing a green balaclava, a black jacket and red gloves.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
