Kim Kardashian breaks down over threats on her life — and pulls back the curtain on her robbery trial — in the first look at season 7 of The Kardashians.
“I got a call from investigators. Someone extremely close to me put a hit out on my life,” Kim, 44, reveals in the trailer for the all-new season of her family’s Hulu reality series, which dropped on Wednesday, October 1.
Kendall Jenner admits, “Everybody’s kinda on edge,” seemingly referring to the dark cloud following her big sister as a scene of Kim crying flashes across the screen.
Kylie Jenner also hints at the scary time, telling mom Kris Jenner and Kourtney Kardashian’s ex Scott Disick in the trailer, “I heard footsteps walking into my room.”
Kim, meanwhile, confesses, “I am terrified out of my mind” as clips of police swarming the area play in the background.
While Kim doesn’t reveal who put out the hit on her life in the trailer, she teases that fans will get an inside look at the highs and lows she’s faced over the past year, including testifying in France against the men who robbed her in 2016 while in town for Paris Fashion Week.
“Don’t we want to see all the craziness,” Kim cheekily says to kick off the trailer.
The video then shows clips of Kim in Paris in May arriving to testify against the men who robbed her at gunpoint years prior. (Eight of the 10 suspects were found guilty in May, while the other two were acquitted.)
“Do you really think we really should walk in there with all the diamonds on,” Kris, 69, asks Kim ahead of the trail.
Kim, who was tied up in 2016 after the robbers demanded her diamond ring, tells her mom she isn’t going to let the assailants stop her from “being who I want to be,” so she plans to wear her jewels.
Elsewhere in the trailer, Kim promises that “this season is a whole different beast” since brother Rob Kardashian is back — at least for a few scenes — and her ex-stepdad Caitlyn Jenner returns for family gatherings.
“No judgement, but it’s good TV,” Kendall, 29, teases.
Khloé Kardashian, meanwhile, says she’s “here for the ride,” noting that she and Kourtney, 46, aren’t exactly getting along.
“Kourtney never has anything nice to say these days,” Khloé, 41, tells the camera.
Kourtney, for her part, claims that Khloé has been bringing “negative energy” to the situation and accuses her of “doom scrolling.”
Khloé claps back at her sister’s claim, saying her recent searches include “fashion, a dog, nails. Everything’s happy!”
Kourtney also shares that it’s been a “different places era” for her and husband Travis Barker, because they are traveling a lot and therefore not with the family as much.
On a lighter note, Kim’s All’s Fair costars, including Sarah Paulson and Glenn Close will join her for a girls’ night at Kris’ house.
“I’m freaking out!” Kris admits.
Season 7 will also mark the end of an era, as the family says goodbye to Kris’ home. “This house is so special,” Kylie, 28, says.
“I had sex in a few of these rooms,” Khloé admits, before telling fans this season is “going to be good.”
The Kardashians returns to Hulu on Saturday, October 23.
