Kelly Clarkson didn’t hold back while updating fans on how she was feeling during a recent on-stage performance.

“I don’t know what’s wrong with me,” Clarkson, 44, told her Studio Sessions Las Vegas residency audience inside Caesars Palace on Saturday, July 18. “I don’t know if I got that thing, you know, that people, like, eat lettuce s***. I don’t know what the f***. But last night during the show, I was like, ‘Oh, my God.’ And I get back to my room, and I have never been so happy there is not a man in the room.”

A fan video of the moment, shared via Instagram two nights later, captured Clarkson’s horrified recollection of the moment as she told the amused crowd, “[A man] for sure would never make sweet love to this again.”

As Clarkson, who is single after splitting from her late husband, Branddon Blackstock in 2020, also had a giggle over the memory before comparing it to the infamous Bridesmaids scene where multiple characters suffer food poisoning while trying on bridal attire. “Bridesmaids ain’t got s*** on what happened in my life,” Clarkson concluded. “I was like, ‘Oh, Lord.’ And you know the part where you think it’s over? It has to be over? No, girl.”

She finished her story by praising the bathrooms inside the Vegas venue. “You know what’s awesome? They have warm toilets for you here,” the musician said. “I’m going to be single until I’m dead, it’s fine. I’m gonna find another weird motherf***er out there.”

Clarkson is known for her candid overshares, recently opening up about ending her talk-show, The Kelly Clarkson Show, in May at the end of its seventh season. “I would get fired by NBC, but I don’t work there anymore,” she said during her Friday, July 17, Studio Session while stroking a fan’s sequin jacket sleeve. “We are sad about [it because] it was a fun show.”

The “Since U Been Gone” hitmaker said on the Today Show in February that she believed fans would empathize with her decision to wrap production in an effort to focus on her personal life following Blackstock’s August 2025 death. “I think everybody probably gets the timing,” she said at the time. “Our family life, the dynamic changed a bit, and it has changed for a minute now, so I think … it’s one of those things when you kinda start seeing life with how it is precious, too.”

Clarkson and Blackstock shared two children: daughter River, born in 2014, and son Remy, born in 2016. (Blackstock’s death was announced on August 7 last year, with it later emerging that he had been privately struggling with cancer. He was 48 years old.)

Clarkson had told fans on February 2 that she was stepping away after feeling “extremely fortunate” to have worked on her show with great people. “Because of all of that, this was not an easy decision, but this season will be my last hosting The Kelly Clarkson Show,” she said in a statement to Us. “Stepping away from the daily schedule will allow me to prioritize my kids, which feels necessary and right for this next chapter of our lives.”
