America’s most famous fiancé — and tight end — is quarterbacking fall fashion.
The day after it was revealed that Travis Kelce put an 8-carat engagement ring on Taylor Swift’s finger, American Eagle has announced a limited-edition clothing collection with his sportswear brand, Tru Kolors.
AE x Tru Kolors by Travis Kelce will launch in two drops — today and on September 24.
And it turns out his engagement wasn’t the only secret Kelce, 35, has been keeping.
“I’ve had to keep my excitement about this collab under wraps for nearly a year. It was an awesome
opportunity to team up with an established brand where both sides were excited to truly collaborate on
every decision in the design and creative process that brought the ‘AE x TK’ collection to life,”
Kelce said in a statement.
The first ad for the line features the Kansas City Chief, clad in a textured V-neck sweater and aviators, opening the trunk of his car before walking to meet his crew — including a slew of college athletes benefiting from the NIL bump.
Tennis star Anna Frey, 17, joins UConn women’s hoops guard Azzi Fudd, 22, as well as Penn State QB quarterback Drew Allar, 22, and Ohio State wide receiver Jeremiah Smith, 19.
Syracuse shooting guard Kiyan Anthony — who is also the 18-year-old son of Carmelo Anthony and LaLa Anthony — and Olympic gold-medal gymnast Suni Lee, 22, are also featured.
The line will feature more than 90 pieces of everyday essentials including vintage-inspired tees, varsity jackets, cricket sweaters, rugby polos and utility cargos, along with cashmere sets, all priced between $14.95 and $179.95.
“I started Tru Kolors in 2019 on the foundation of showing up authentically and having fun with
style, and we wanted this collab to reflect that same energy. I want everyone to feel like there is
something for them in the collection, something they can feel good in and make their own. I’m excited
for it to finally be out in the world,” Kelce said in the statement.
