A prominent Aussie fitness influencer has been labeled “delusional” after listing a used designer couch on Facebook Marketplace for a staggering price.

The backlash started after Aussie creator and mom-of-three Sarah Stevenson, who goes by Sarah’s Day online, put her three-seater pink designer couch up for sale for an eye-watering $6,000 AUD, or around $4,188 USD.

The piece of furniture, a Jardan Wilfred lounge, was initially purchased by the 33-year-old about six years ago for approx. $7,679 USD, she said.

Yet, eagle-eyed shoppers were quick to spot that the couch was not only ridiculously expensive, but not in great condition.

In a video uploaded to social media in mid-May, Day, who boasts over a million followers on Instagram, admitted just how stained the lounge had become over the years.

“We got a few stains on it [because] the boys were eating on there,” she shared with her followers.

“I just lost all care, so I let them eat on the couch.”

She went on to say she got the couch “professionally cleaned”, but added that the vibrant fabric “came out gray.”

“It’s supposed to be this beautiful, vibrant pink and now it has this gray hue,” she added.

However, she quickly defended her family’s hygiene to her viewers.

“Don’t think we’re gross. We are not grubby people,” she insisted.

Despite the professional clean, followers were stunned by the asking price, noting the recent Facebook listing appeared to omit any mention of the previous stains.

“You best believe if I have $6K for a new couch I will be purchasing something brand new,” one person wrote online.

Another shocked user described the piece of furniture as completely “ran through.”

“Wow it’s actually so ugly,” a third person wrote, while others remarked on how uncomfortable it looked.

“No one is paying $6k for that,” another exclaimed.

One critic even joked: “I wouldn’t even ask, ‘Is this available?’ if it was listed for free.”

News.com.au has reached out to Stevenson for comment.

The fitness influencer shares her children — Fox, 7, Malakai, 4, and Harlow, 1 — with her husband Kurt Tilse.

The couple welcomed their third child late last year, with Day sharing intimate photos of her at-home labor on Instagram.

Outside of her busy home life, the influencer recently competed in the Hyrox women’s doubles pro fitness race for the first time, sharing that she “loved every second of it.”
