Hailey Bieber is getting candid about the things she loves — and what she worries about — while raising her son with Justin Bieber.
“Just seeing this little human evolve before your eyes,” Hailey, 29, told Interview Magazine in a Q&A published on Tuesday, April 14, when asked to name the “most exciting thing” about being a mom. “They grow so fast and they change so much and there’s always so much excitement. You’re watching them experience life for the first time, so you kind of feel like you’re experiencing it that way with them.”
Hailey noted that she worries “every day” about the kind of world her son, Jack Blues, will grow up in. (Hailey and Justin, who tied the knot in 2018, welcomed their son in August 2024.)
“That’s probably the most anxiety I have as a parent,” she explained. “The world he’s growing up in is very, very scary and it feels so bleak, thinking about the future, with how things are going. But I just have to close my eyes and have faith. As long as he’s growing up in an environment at home that’s really loving and beautiful, that’s all that I can hope for.”
Ahead of the interview, Hailey made headlines when she wore a matching “ICE OUT” pin with Justin on the red carpet at the 2026 Grammys, which she noted is an issue she feels passionately about.
“I feel scared for our country, and I think it’s important to speak up and support however you can. Wearing an ‘ICE OUT’ pin is such a small thing that you can do in such a big, big, big, big conversation,” Hailey explained.
She continued, “Sometimes you don’t know the right thing to say or how to say it, but injustice is injustice, and when you have a voice to speak up for people who can’t, it’s very important to do that.”
Hailey has been candid about parenthood through the years, sharing in a November 2025 GQ cover story that she doesn’t “think there’s anything someone can tell you about it that will ever, ever, ever prepare you until you do it yourself.”
When it comes time to potentially have a second baby, Hailey shared she does feel “much more prepared to do it again, as opposed to how not prepared I felt doing it for the first time.”
She continued, “And I think for me personally, there’s so much unknown to it, but so much happens and so much changes and you evolve in a totally different way that you would never be able to prepare for until you do it.”
