Your breakfast could be deadly.

Granola from the company Hampton Grocer, has been recalled over a possible salmonella contamination. The health-conscious brand issued a recall on its eight-ounce bags of Lacnola Lactation Granola — a product geared towards supporting “healthy lactation” and providing “key minerals for postpartum health.”

According to the FDA report, the granola was distributed nationwide — including California — through mail orders on the brand’s website. It was also sold across other online retailers like Amazon.

The specialty lactation granola contains organic oats, flaxseed, almonds, pumpkin seeds, moringa and more. Each pack was galactagogues — foods and substances that help new mothers increase milk production.

The potentially impacted item was rolled out between October 21, 2025 and August 12th, 2026. The FDA notice said there have been no reported illnesses as of August 14 and all products have since been wiped off every website.

Hamptons Grocer was alerted by the supplier of the organic moringa powder — a product used in the granola — that a sample of the powder had tested positive for salmonella. The granola company is now conducting an investigation to find the source of the problem.

If you have the product in your home, do not consume. You should dispose of the product immediately and contact the place of purchase for a full refund.

“No illnesses or injuries have been reported in connection with either Lacnola Lactation Granola or the recalled Food to Live products. Additionally, neither the organic moringa leaf powder used in our product nor the finished Lacnola Lactation Granola has tested positive for Salmonella,” the company told The Post.

Make sure to check your pantries for the pink, eight-ounce, stand up pouches.

The affected lot codes should look like the the following:

  • Lot HGLC-102125 with expiration date of 21OCT2026
  • Lot HGLC-021326 with expiration date of 13FEB2027

The codes and expiration dates will appear on the back of the bags on the upper left side and will be printed in black ink.

Anyone with questions may contact the company at (201) 820-8789.

Salmonella symptoms are often fever, diarrhea (which may be bloody), nausea, vomiting and abdominal pain and in some rare cases can be fatal.

The FDA said salmonella may be able to get into the bloodstream and produce more severe illnesses such as arterial infections, endocarditis and arthritis in rare circumstances.

Although, the most common symptoms are diarrhea, fever and stomach cramps, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

The CDC also said symptoms from salmonella poisoning may start six hours or up to six days after ingesting. Healthy folks can typically recover within four to seven days with no treatment, while other, more vulnerable groups could require medical treatment or even hospitalization.

The CDC suggests contacting your health care professional if you experience the following:

  • Diarrhea and a fever higher than 102 degrees Fahrenheit
  • Diarrhea for more than three days that is not improving
  • Bloody diarrhea
  • So much vomiting that you cannot keep liquids down
  • Signs of dehydration, such as not urinating much, dry mouth and throat, and feeling dizzy when standing up
