NASCAR icon Boris Said is going into overdrive with ambitious new details on his massive $400 million motorsport playground — and he is naming his price for entry into the high-octane Lake Elsinore club.

Speaking by phone from Mexico — where he was taking a breather ahead of the Baja 400 off-road desert race where his son, Boris Said Jr., will compete — Said revealed that joining the ultra-luxe Elsinore Ring country club will run drivers roughly something “in the neighborhood of $300,000.”

“It’s like a private golf club, but for people that love to collect cars and drive cars on the track — the way they would be intended to driven from the engineering standpoint,” Said told The California Post.

The heart of the 300-acre development is a 3.2-mile, 22 turn circuit built to FIA Grade 2 standards, with three different configurations allowing separate portions of the track to potentially operate at the same time. The world-class track would be capable of hosting major racing series.

“We could have some IndyCar races there and NASCAR if they wanted to,” he said.

Unlike other country clubs, membership will be capped at 450 drivers — and treated as a transferable asset that members can later sell at market value.

Surrounding the asphalt will be six structures, each stretching 525 feet long by 100 feet wide, housing 275 luxury garage condominiums. The units feature 1,300-square-feet of ground-floor garage space — imagined with enough room to house between six and eight vehicles — and a 1,300-square-foot living condo above it. There will be 12 top-tier penthouse suites with a third floor.

Select residences will facilitate chopper access, and be equipped with rooftop helipads to allow wealthy owners to touch down directly above their care collection. While the garages and trackside condos are separate purchases that can be split among friends or occupied year round, membership is strictly limited to one person and their family.

Other amenities read like an upscale resort, with its clubhouse boasting a swimming pool with a glass floor and panoramic views of the circuit, a luxe spa, gym, and a restaurant, among others.

The venue also plans to open its doors to the public for up to 100 days a year to host community events, weddings or even Fourth of July fireworks. Once the track and condos are up and running, Said’s team plans to map out an additional 30 acres for commercial development.

Historically, SoCal’s elite collectors have had to trek to places like the Coachella Valley to unleash their multimillion-dollar exotic cars. Said is betting that Lake Elsinore’s relative proximity to Los Angeles and San Diego will turn it into an irresistible alternative.

The city of Lake Elsinore has embraced the roaring engines, leaning into its identity as an extreme sports haven with motocross tracks and skydiving fields.

But navigating California’s notoriously strict red tape remains the steepest hurdle. Said cited environmental reviews and California Fish and Wildlife approvals as the longest lead times.

Still, Said expects to officially break ground in October 2027, and is eyeing a grand ribbon cutting in 2030.

“I’m a racer, and I want to race,” Said told The Post. “Not many places in Southern California have 300 acres and a city that’s behind it.”
