Emilie Kiser has shared a candid post about her grief following the drowning death of her son Trigg.

The influencer, 26, opened up about her “never ending feeling of sadness” after Trigg, 3, drowned in May via an Instagram Story post shared on Friday, October 3.

“If you’re going through loss, I just want to say I’m here with you. It’s a never ending feeling of sadness,” Emilie wrote.

Emilie said she leans into the grief and sadness as she grapples with the aftermath of the tragedy.

“Something that has helped me is having the realization that every other emotion can coexist with the grief. When the tears come, I let them, and I fully feel every single emotion. I just take it all in because it’s part of living with it for the rest of my life,” she said.

Emilie continued: “Feeling grief is so so important and to me, it’s hard and ugly, but it’s also a reminder of my infinite love for Trigg. I know if my grief went away tomorrow, I would be sad. Because it would mean I’m not forever living with the memories of  and feelings of loving him and missing him.”

The Chandler, Arizona, Police Department confirmed to Us Weekly in May that Trigg died after being pulled unconscious from the family’s backyard pool.

In July, authorities submitted a criminal charge recommendation for Trigg’s father, Brady, who was home when the incident occurred. A statement shared by the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office later said there was “no likelihood of conviction.”

After pausing all social media activity in the wake of Trigg’s death, Emilie ultimately broke her silence on the tragedy in August.

“Loss of this magnitude feels impossible to put into words,” Emilie wrote via Instagram at the time. “I’ve spent days, weeks, months trying to find them and also take the time I’ve needed to digest the loss of my baby.”

She continued, “Trigg is our baby and our best friend. The light and spirit he brought into this world was bright, pure, joyful and undeniable. We miss him every second of every day and continuing forward often feels unbearable. I never thought we would experience grief in this way or the pain of losing him so suddenly.”

Emilie, who also shares 6-month-old son Teddy with Brady, returned to TikTok in September. She paid tribute to her late son by wearing a necklace that read, “Trigg.”

“I have been offline for the last little bit,” she said at the time. “I’m just doing my best every day to figure this out, figure my life out. I’m just taking it day by day. I’m going to do the same with my content.”

On September 28, Emilie shared details of her therapy journey as she attempts to move forward.

“I’m preparing my brain to vomit to her and give her all of my thoughts, so usually causes me on the drive over to get a little bit emotional,” she said via a TikTok clip. “Because I’m on the drive over just thinking about how I’m actually going through what I’m going through and when I get that realization I’m like, ‘Just holy s*** I can’t believe this is my life and what I’m going through right now.’”
