The Los Angeles Dodgers have corrected course after an 81-year-old lifelong fan‘s story went viral earlier this month.

81-year-old Errol Segal has been a Dodgers season ticket holder for over 50 years, opting for printed paper tickets to attend games at Dodger Stadium.

However, this year, the team decided to shift to a digital-only policy, which would have made it impossible for Segal — who does not own a smartphone — to attend games.

While the team initially refused to accommodate this lifelong fan, they have now printed tickets for Segal, according to NBC Los Angeles.

Segal — the proprietor of a recycling center in South Los Angeles — has only owned a flip phone for decades, making access to digital tickets impossible.

He revealed earlier this month that he was, “actually depressed that the Dodgers refused to honor (his) request of paper tickets.”

The team offered to buy his tickets back, but he refused, adding, “50 years I’ve had these tickets. They threw me under the bus.”

He added, “It makes me so happy when I hand them the ticket and the smile on their face. There’s nothing like an original paper ticket.”

Now that he has his tickets, he’s looking forward to heading to Chavez Ravine to root on the Boys in Blue as they continue their quest for a third straight World Series championship.

“I’m with them whether they win or lose,” Segal said. “I love everything about the Dodgers.”

Sadler made headlines a few years ago, when he offered free gas cards in exchange for a bulk of 3,000 pounds of either paper, cardboard or metal.

As for the Dodgers, Sadler won’t be able to see them for at least another week.

The team started a seven-game road trip in Denver on Friday, taking on the Colorado Rockies in the first of a four-game set.

They will then head to the Bay Area for a three-game series against the San Francisco Giants, before heading home for a weekend series against the Chicago Cubs on April 24.
