Dior Creative Director Jonathan Anderson broke his silence about collaborating with Taylor Swift on her wedding dress.

“It was a joy to work with her,” Anderson, 41, told WWD at the launch of his 2026 couture collection in Paris on Monday, July 6, adding, “We became very good friends.”

Swift’s spokesperson confirmed on Friday, July 3, that she and husband Travis Kelce both wore Christian Dior Haute Couture for their wedding at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Anderson’s bespoke couture wedding dress for Swift, 36, was the fashion house’s first for a celebrity bride.

In addition to their Dior outfits, both bride and groom wore custom Christian Louboutin shoes while Swift accessorized with Cartier jewelry.

“It’s an emotional thing doing someone’s wedding,” Anderson said of working with Swift.

Anderson joined Dior as its Creative Director of Dior Women’s, Men’s and Haute Couture Collections in June 2025, replacing predecessor Maria Grazia Chiuri. He previously worked for Spanish fashion house Loewe from 2013 until 2025.

No official wedding photos of the newlyweds have been publicly released, as of publication.

Us Weekly previously reported that both Swift and Kelce, 36, wore white for the ceremony. An insider revealed that Swift’s wedding dress had a “very long train,” describing the garment as “incredibly classic and elegant.”

A second source separately confirmed to Us that the happy couple completely transformed the color palette inside Madison Square Garden to reflect the light tones of their couture outfits. Kelce and Swift reportedly opted for soft blush and light peach as dominant colors in the decor.

“The entire wedding had an enchanted garden-inspired vibe,” the insider told Us. “There was light peach drapery everywhere as you entered, blush and white florals, tons of lush greenery, huge trees and candlelight throughout.”

The source described the wedding as the equivalent of “walking into an enchanted garden,” complete with cocktail drink napkins, signs and custom handkerchiefs monogrammed with T&T initials. (Swift and Kelce flashed an announcement on Madison Square Garden’s digital billboards announcing that they were “JUST&T MARRIED!” shortly after exchanging vows inside the venue.)

“They transformed the venue into an elegant and unique wedding experience that reflected both their personalities,” a third source told Us. “It was decorated elegantly, incorporating their down-to-earth style mixed in.”

Many other stars turned heads with their wedding attire at the ceremony, including Swift’s bestie Selena Gomez in a crystal-adorned Oscar de la Renta gown, her longtime pal Abigail Anderson in a strapless corset-and-skirt gown by Sau Lee and Jennifer Lopez wearing a black Bach Mai dress with a plunging neckline, among many other stunning looks.

Kelce popped the question to Swift in August 2025 after welcoming her as a guest on his “New Heights” podcast. The pair were first linked romantically in 2023.
