He was cruising for a boozing … and a bruising.
Crewmembers were forced to call upon burly male passengers to help restrain an intoxicated flyer who threatened to “stab” and “kill” other travelers.
The kerfuffle kicked off aboard a six-hour flight from Ulan-Ude to Moscow in Russia after the unnamed disruptor locked himself in the bathroom so he could booze it up at 30,000 feet, East2West News reported.
After getting forced out of the lavatory, he began banging his fists on the door and threatening his fellow flyers.
“Shut your f–king face! I’m Russian, I don’t give a f–k!,” the hellion yelled in the dramatic footage.
This prompted the crew to enlist the aid of other flyers. “Attention — situation on board,” they announced over the intercom. “We have a disruptive drunk passenger. Requesting several men to come to the back [of the plane] to help the crew.”
Thankfully, at least five good Samaritans heeded the call, surrounding the inebriated passenger and attempting to force him back into his seat as he resisted and he shouted expletives at them.
“Why are you showing off, you f–k?! F–k!” the Russian bellowed, to which a male passenger replied, “grown men came over to calm you down.”
“I don’t want to embarrass myself, f–k! You f–king piece of s–t!” the boozer declared.
A male passenger retorted, “You’ve already embarrassed yourself, don’t worry.”
At that point, the flyer said he had connections on the ground who would exact revenge upon those attempting to restrain him.
That’s when he threatened their lives, shouting, “B–h, I’ll stab you! I’m a Russian guy, f–k! Where the f–k?
“I don’t want to kill anyone, f–k!” added the boozed-up bozo, who hit his head during the commotion, causing it to pour blood.
Thankfully, the mile-high heroes eventually managed to wrestle the miscreant into his seat, after which he was bandaged. Thanks to their intervention, the plane was able to continue on to its destination sans having to make an emergency landing.
Toward the end of the trip, after the passenger had sobered up, he reportedly apologized to passengers and crew for his profanity-laced tirade.
Nonetheless, the boozehound was met and detained by authorities upon arrival at Moscow’s Domodedovo airport.
In a similar incident last month, a pair of passengers had to be escorted off a plane when they became “uncontrollable” and fought with crew members after boozing aboard a Jet2 flight from the UK to Greece.
