A fast-food fool pulled off a brazen robbery at gunpoint, taking his Shake Shake coworkers hostage and returning to work only days later, cops said.

Keondre Simmons, 33, covered his face and barged into the Shake Shack location where he worked in Scottsdale, Arizona armed with a semi-automatic handgun on August 3, according to FOX 10 Phoenix.

Simmons then allegedly led one worker to a walk-in cooler at gunpoint and forced the store manager to open the store’s safe and hand over about $2800, the outlet said.

Simmons is accused of locking both employees inside the cooler, forcing them both to kneel at gunpoint. He’s also accused of forcing them to turn over their cellphones, which he allegedly destroyed in a sink full of water.

Both victims told police that the suspect’s physical appearance, voice and familiarity with the restaurant were consistent with Simmons — including his knowledge of the walk-in cooler latch, where gloves and cleaning wipes were kept and the layout of employee-only areas.

Simmons had also called out sick that morning earlier than he typically did, according to investigators.

Footage from the Shake Shack and nearby property backed up the victims’ testimonies, showing the suspect entering and leaving through the rear of the restaurant before driving away in a green SUV, according to court records.

Simmons had a search warrant placed on his cellphone for records around the time the robbery allegedly happened.

Detectives watched Simmons leave his apartment and drive to the Shake Shack location, where he was arrested in the parking lot on Aug. 5. Simmons was booked on charges of armed robbery with a deadly weapon, two counts of aggravated assault and two counts of kidnapping.

Simmons was wearing his Shake Shack uniform in his court appearance. He was held on a $100k bond.

A search conducted at his residence discovered the firearm that was described during the robbery and the cash that was allegedly stolen.
