Andy Cohen weighed in after an apparent audio leak from the Summer House reunion taping went viral — and he didn’t hold back.
“On my way to eye surgery and just reading about it,” Andy, 57, wrote via Threads on Friday, April 24, after a fan warned him to stay off social media. “People laid their souls out emotionally for ten hours yesterday and it’s disgusting and illegal for someone to leak or distribute this.”
He continued: “It’s disrespectful to the work and tears the cast put in yesterday. Let the season play out. You will see it all in due time.”
The Summer House cast gathered in New York on Thursday, April 23, to hash out their issues, with Ciara Miller and Amanda Batula seated on opposite sides of Andy. In the alleged audio from the taping, the costars were heard addressing their complicated love triangle with West Wilson.
Rumors about Amanda’s connection with West, 31, swirled after she announced her separation from husband Kyle Cooke in January. (West, for his part, has had an on-and-off connection with Ciara, 30, since 2023.)
In March, Amanda, 34, and West released a joint statement about their relationship and were met with overwhelming backlash from both fans and fellow Bravo stars. Days before the reunion taping, West broke his silence on the scandal.
“There was no overlap,” he said during the Monday, April 20, episode of his and Sophie Cunningham’s “Show Me Something” podcast, adding that he and Amanda “realized things were maybe a little bit serious” in February. “I know there’s a thousand different theories on the internet right now, but that is one thing that for sure did not happen. Everyone was single.”
West hinted at where he stood with his Summer House costars amid the drama.
“I’ve sent some texts. Haven’t gotten responses from everybody yet, which is to be expected and I get it,” he said. “That’s the hardest part.”
He continued: “I think with this whole situation is my actions have hurt people I care about. But the reunion’s coming up and I can give those apologies face-to-face and also clear up all of the crazy s*** that’s been on the internet.”
Ciara, meanwhile, spoke out for the first time in a tell-all interview with Glamour published on April 17, calling the situation a “major mindf***.”
“Just know when something’s weird in your gut, there’s a reason. What’s done in the dark always comes to light,” she said. “And sometimes you really don’t even have to do anything except sit back and let the universe handle it all.”
Summer House airs on Bravo Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET.
