Amal Clooney has debuted a brand new haircut just in time for fall.
Clooney, 47, said goodbye to her waist-length hair and showed off a fresh look while speaking at an event on Monday, October 6. Her brunette hair featured caramel highlights, with her mane parted to the side and cut to her chest.
Hairstylist Dimitris Giannetos took to Instagram to show off her new ‘do. “AMAL CLOONEY ❤️,” he captioned the post. “‘The bubble blowout’ and a new chop for Amal Clooney!”
Fans went wild for her new tresses in the comments section. “She’s breathtaking! True beauty inside and out🖤,” one follower wrote, while a second added, “Absolutely stunning!❤️.” A third praised, “Fabulous!! Length is perfect!!”
Clooney styled her fresh cut with a black top featuring a V-neck, short sleeves, a butto-up design and a peplum waist. The lawyer, who is married to George Clooney, teamed the look with dark bottoms.
For glam, Amal stunned with a full face of makeup, including dewy foundation, blushed cheeks, highlighter swept down the bridge of her nose and lined, pink lips. Her eye makeup was just as flirty, with brown shadow blended into her crease. She completed her look with long lashes and manicured eyebrows.
Giannetos, who is also the mastermind behind Demi Moore’s wispy bangs, opened up to Vogue on Monday about Amal’s big chop, explaining, “I cut off between six and eight inches of hair.” He added, “Amal has never had a haircut like this before.”
Giannetos labeled the style as a “power cut” and noted that if fans want the same style, they should ask a hairdresser to cut the hair to the décolletage with blunt ends and long face-framing pieces. “It’s sophisticated and modern,” he said.
The hairstylist previously worked with Amal ahead of the 2025 Albies Awards, when she went a shade darker with her hair. In a “toasted almond” fashion, Giannetos glazed her mane a shade darker with her money pieces slightly lighter, to “keep [her] features soft and sweet,” per Vogue.
Giannetos again made headlines when he gave Moore, 62, her new bangs. The actress, 62, also showed off her look on Monday, debuting a fringe cut slightly past her eyebrows and separated over her forehead. The rest of her mane was down to her waist and styled in loose waves.
“Bangs — now and then. Thank you @gucci for letting me bring back the fringe for the first time since the Striptease days!” Moore captioned the post.
Moore previously had bangs in the 1990s, while filming her movie Striptease. At the time, her fringe was cut to her brows and blown out over her forehead. The rest of her hair was worn long and straightened down her back.
In the movie, she also wore her hair in updos, which she teamed with sexy lingerie. In one scene, she rocked a push-up balconette bra adorned with lace embellishments and delicate bows on her straps. She matched it with coordinating bottoms and diamond accessories, as well as black gloves.
