Married reality TV star dad Joseph Duggar looks disheveled in his mugshot after being accused of molesting a 9-year-old girl — five years after his brother Josh was busted for child porn.
The former “19 Kids and Counting” star was unshaven with a mess of thinning hair in his booking photo on Wednesday as he was taken into custody in Arkansas.
The 31-year-old father of three is facing disturbing charges, including lewd and lascivious acts involving a victim under 12, as well as lewd behavior toward an adult, according to the Bay County Sheriff’s Office.
His young accuser, now 14, told officers she was just 9 when Duggar allegedly abused her during a getaway in Panama City Beach, Florida, in 2020, a year before his brother was busted for child porn.
Joseph Duggar would allegedly ask her to sit on his lap on a couch and then touch her inappropriately while also rubbing her thighs while covering them with a blanket, according to officials.
The young accuser’s dad confronted the reality TV alum on Tuesday, and Duggar allegedly admitted it both to the dad and then to police when interviewed, according to the Bay County Sheriff’s Office.
Duggar married Kendra Caldwell in 2017, and shares three kids with her — Garrett, Addison, and Brooklyn Praise.
He shot to fame on the early 2000s hit “19 Kids and Counting,” which chronicled the supersized Duggar clan led by parents Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar.
The scandal-plagued family has faced serious allegations before — most notably when brother Josh was accused of molesting minors. He was later convicted on child porn charges and sentenced to 12 years in prison
