It shouldn’t surprise you to hear that The Bear, General Hospital, and The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives are still dominating the charts on Hulu.

The good news is that there are some fresh options on Hulu’s top 15 list, including a pair of films that didn’t get theatrical releases despite fielding some genuine movie stars.

Watch With Us has narrowed our picks down to these popular Hulu movies and a TV show.

Our selections this week include a crime comedy, one of the wildest sitcoms on TV, and an unheralded sci-fi flick.

‘Riff Raff’ (2025)

Riff Raff | Official Trailer | Hulu

Riff Raff has such a great cast, it’s kind of hard to believe this movie skipped theaters and went straight to Hulu. Ed Harris plays Vincent, the husband of Sandy (Gabrielle Union) and father of DJ (Miles J. Harvey). Their family Christmas is upended when Vincent’s oldest son, Rocco (Lewis Pullman), arrives unannounced with his girlfriend, Marina (Emanuela Postacchini), and Vincent’s ex-wife, Ruth (Jennifer Coolidge).

That would have been more than enough for an awkward holiday, but the family also has to deal with a deadly criminal, Hannigan (Bill Murray), who has come looking for some payback alongside his much younger henchman, Lonnie (Pete Davidson).

‘It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia’ (2005 – Present)

This year marks the 20th anniversary of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, which is now the longest-running live-action sitcom in TV history. Season 17 premiered this week and revealed more the show’s crossover with Abbott Elementary. And you’ll learn all about the horrible things that Charlie Kelly (Charlie Day), Mac (Rob McElhenney), Dennis Reynolds (Glenn Howerton), Dee Reynolds (Kaitlin Olson), and Frank Reynolds (Danny DeVito) did while they were there.

The second episode of the season also debuted, and it finds the gang back at the bar as Frank has a brush with mortality. But don’t expect a shift away from the show’s signature dark humor. The gang can always find a way to go lower.

‘Long Distance’ (2024)

We’re not entirely sure why Long Distance sat on a shelf for five years after it was finished, or why it’s so difficult to find an English trailer for the film. But it’s got a pretty good cast that includes Anthony Ramos, Naomi Scott, and a vocal performance by Zachary Quinto. It’s also placed on Hulu’s top 15 more than a week after it debuted on the streamer.

In the future, Andy Ramirez (Ramos) and Naomi Calloway (Scott) are surviving crew members of an asteroid mining ship that crashed on an alien planet. Quinto voices Andy’s A.I. suit, L.E.O.N.A.R.D., and warns him that he’s rapidly losing oxygen. Meanwhile, Naomi is trapped in her own escape pod, and she may die unless Andy finds a way to close the distance between them.
