Sometimes luck comes in fours.
A South Carolina woman purchased four winning lottery tickets in a single day — and one was worth a whopping $200,000.
“It was exciting,” the woman told South Carolina Education Lottery officials.
She purchased the four scratch-off tickets worth $5 a pop at the Corner Pantry convenience store, according to S.C. lottery officials.
She broke even on the first two tickets, won $5 on the third and the big top $200,000 prize on a My Money Maker ticket.
It was the last jackpot ticket available for that game, South Carolina lottery officials said.
“When it sinks in, I can let you know how it feels,” the South Carolina woman WYFF TV.
The woman, whose identity was not revealed, said she played the lotto tickets in her car at the store’s parking lot.
She was so thrilled when she realized she won, she ran back into the store to tell the first person she could find.
“It’s a friendly place, that’s why I stop there,” the winner said.
Corner Pantry staff were happy to share in her joy and congratulated her on her big win, and the store received a $2,000 commission for selling the winning ticket, South Carolina lotto officials said.
My Money Maker players have a one in 9,000 chance of winning the jackpot. The woman says she plans to buy a house with her newfound wealth.
“I still haven’t wrapped my brain around it,” she said.
