Prescribed pleasure?

Experts say doctor-designed medical vibrators can do more than make you climax — they can also help manage and alleviate major gynecological and urological issues.

That’s why this brand’s luxury sex toys are considered a medical expense — and can be paid for with your flexible spending account (FSA) or health care spending account (HSA) using pre-tax dollars.

“For far too long, sexual wellness has been sidelined as secondary or even taboo,” Soum Rakshit, co-founder of MV. Health, told The Post.

“Yet medical vibrators are designed to address issues like pelvic pain, sexual arousal disorders, erectile dysfunction, and menopause-related vaginal dryness”

Indeed, studies indicate that doctors aren’t broaching the topic of sexual wellness with their older patients.

Research also shows that many healthcare providers lack the knowledge and the confidence to discuss sex with people who have disabilities or chronic illnesses. Experts maintain that this silence adds to the barriers people face when it comes to physical intimacy. It could also be preventing them from accessing the health benefits of a fulfilling sex life.

Sex is known to improve heart health, lower stress levels through the release of endorphins, and boost sleep quality.

For men, a healthy dose of Os can even lower their risk of developing the big C.

A Harvard study found that men who ejaculated 21 or more times a month had a 31% lower risk of prostate cancer compared to those who only released 4-7 times a month.

Similar to sleep and nutrition, sexual wellness is a critical component of overall health, which is precisely why Rashkit and others believe vibrators should be covered by insurance.

“Covering vibrators with FSA/HSA funds removes financial barriers, reinforces Uro/Gyn health as essential health care, and supports overall quality of life improvement for the general population,” he said.

MV. Health has led the charge in clinically proven, FDA-cleared sexual wellness tech. Reflecting those efforts, the entire lineup of six devices is now fully reimbursed by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, paving the way for patriots to have access to pleasure.

Rakshit emphasizes that MV. Health’s award-winning vibrators can support sexual wellness for both men and women.

“They boost blood flow, arousal, and natural lubrication, significantly alleviating conditions like vaginal dryness, painful sex, and difficulty reaching orgasm, particularly during menopause or hormonal shifts,” he said.

For women, Rashkit recommends the Crescendo 2. Designed to adapt to any body shape, he says it is proven to alleviate vaginal dryness, pelvic pain and painful sex. For those experiencing arousal issues and difficulty reaching orgasm, it delivers precise vibrations and pelvic floor stimulation.

The Legato, a flexible, external medical vibrator provides vulva and labia stimulation without penetration for women suffering from vaginal dryness, painful sex and menopause-related discomfort.

For targeted internal and external stimulation, the Poco reduces pain and enhances arousal.

For men, Rashkit recommends the Tenuto 2, a clinically proven wearable designed to enhance erectile function, improve blood flow, and reduce performance anxiety.

A democratic addition, this model vibes to stimulate both partners during intercourse.

Meanwhile, the Molto is a slim, flexible prostate vibrator that features 16 vibration settings and 8 pre-set patterns, delivering targeted stimulation to the prostate.

After testing out a bunch of sex toys from several different brands, The Post’s Kendall Cornish described the Molto as capable of revolutionizing “the way we think about our nether regions.”

It is clinically proven to improve prostate health, alleviate prostatitis pain, and improve erections and ejaculations through precise prostate stimulation.

Post tested, Cornish called the Molto a game-changer, “that’s about to turn your bedroom (or bathroom) into a high-tech health spa for your most intimate parts.”

A glow up for your genitalia and an upgrade for sexual health? Hear, hear.
