Ned Fulmer is reentering the comedy landscape, three years after he admitted to having an affair with a Try Guys’ employee. But what is Alexandria Herring, the woman he cheated with, up to now?

Ned, who cofounded content creation group Try Guys in 2014 while working at Buzzfeed, confessed in 2022 to cheating on his wife, Ariel Fulmer, after photos surfaced featuring him and Herring. Nate was fired from the group and took the next few years to work on his marriage and career outside of the limelight.

The entertainer revealed on Tuesday, September 16, that his new show, Rock Bottom, will premiere on Wednesday, September 17, focusing on his darkest times following the affair.

Herring, for her part, has kept a low profile since the scandal, setting her social media accounts to private.

Alexandria Went to College in Hawaii — But Lives in California

Herring received her bachelors of arts degree in communication and media studies from University of Hawai‘i System in 2014, according to LinkedIn. The exact Hawaii university she attended is not listed.

Since graduating, Herring appears to be living in Southern California, per her profile.

She Joined Try Guys’ Staff in 2018

Herring worked as a production assistant and coordinator for different entertainment companies before being a production manager at BuzzFeed for three years.

She was hired by 2nd Try LLC (The Try Guys) in August 2018 as a production manager. Herring was promoted to associate producer at the company in August 2020.

She Was Part of the Food Babies Spinoff Series

Herring teamed up with YB Chang in 2019 to create “The Food Babies,” a spinoff of YouTube videos under the Try Guys umbrella. The two women shared their various food-centric videos with challenges such as eating 400 chicken nuggets in one sitting and trying different types of cuisine, like spicy seafood mukbang.

Alexandria and Ned’s Affair Came to Light in 2022

Ned made headlines in summer 2022 after fans saw him and Herring “engaging in public romantic behavior” over Labor Day weekend, The Try Guys explained via a YouTube video in October of that year.

The remaining members — Keith Habersberger, Zach Kornfeld and Eugene Lee Yang — didn’t reveal Herring’s name in the video at the time, but fans recognized her from their skits over the years.

Ned addressed the scandal in a since-deleted social media statement posted in September 2022. “Family should have always been my priority, but I lost focus and had a consensual workplace relationship,” he confessed three weeks after he was seen kissing Herring at a bar in New York City.

“I’m sorry for any pain that my actions may have caused to the guys and the fans but most of all to Ariel,” Ned added. “The only thing that matters right now is my marriage and my children, and that’s where I am going to focus my attention.” (Ned shares two children with Ariel, whom he is still married to.)

Alexandria Appears to Still Work at Try Guys — But Not Ned

Ned was let go as both an employee and manager of 2nd Try LLC in September 2022. When The Try Guys confirmed Ned’s exit the following month, they said he would be edited out of any new videos.

“There are several videos that we’ve deemed as fully unreleasable. You will never see them, and that is due to his involvement,” Kornfeld via YouTube at the time, noting that even though they lost money because of their choice, “It’s a decision we stand by proudly.”

Herring, for her part, still has associate producer at 2nd Try LLC as her current employer on LinkedIn. According to her profile, she has been working there seven years as of September 2025.

In December 2024, one eagle-eyed fan claimed they heard Herring in the background speaking in a Barbie-themed skit that The Try Guys recently shared. While one user replied to the TikTok video theory, claiming the voice was production manager Noelle Hubbell, others replied in the comments saying they heard Herring was “never let go.”

What Have the Remaining Try Guys Said About the Scandal

“We were obviously incredibly shocked and deeply hurt by all of this,” Yang said in the group’s October 2022 video when they announced Ned’s departure from the company. “[Ned] is someone who we’d built a brand and a company with for eight years. We feel saddened, not just personally, but on behalf of our staff and our fans who believed in us.”

Kornfeld added at the time, “I don’t know that we’ll ever be able to fully articulate the pain we feel at this moment. It’s hard to rewatch old videos that we love and are proud of. We’re losing a friend, we’re losing someone we built a company with, we have countless memories with. We just made a TV show together. I’m sure many of you feel the same way. It’s weird. We’re sorry that this ever happened, and we don’t know what more to say.”

Habersberger, meanwhile, thanked their employees for their continued hard work amid the scandal. He called them “some of the most talented creative minds in the world” and asked that their fans not make the employees targets of “negative attention.”

Yang also asked for grace toward Herring without identifying her directly, saying, “The internet has a tendency to be a lot harsher towards women than men. So please, we ask that you exercise kindness.”
