Grab some tea and crumpets because Vanderpump Villa is heading across the pond for the all-new season.
Hulu announced the change of location on Monday, August 25, with the help of stars Lisa Vanderpump and Stassi Schroeder. “We’ll see you in England! Stay tuned for @VanderpumpVilla Season 3 on @hulu!” the Instagram caption read.
“Come on all of you,” Vanderpump, 64, said in a social media video posted on Monday as she fixed the uniform of her British villa staff, which includes powder pink dresses, black maid-like aprons, a black bowtie and pearl necklace.
The former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star then reeled off a series of English phrases, telling her staff, “Stiff upper lip. Don’t get your frilly knickers in a twist. Keep calm and carry on!”
Vanderpump then appeared on camera, asking viewers, “Are you ready? That’s right, I’m coming home. Nothing beats the English countryside.”
As she went to close the door on her English villa, Stassi, 37, ran up to the mansion and confirmed her own participation in the upcoming season. “Hold up, one more guest,” she said before joining her former SUR boss in England.
Vanderpump teased, “Alright darlings, we’ll see you in England.”
Vanderpump Villa premiered in April 2024 and followed the lives of Vanderpump’s hand-picked staff at a château a.k.a. villa she curated in the South of France. Fans turned in week after week to see what luxury experience the guests would enjoy and how the dynamic of the workers heated up.
Season 2 took Vanderpump and her staff — some old and some new — to Italy where the restauranteur vowed to wow guests in a lavish castle setting.
“It’s richer, funnier, sexier. It’s hard work, finding the right blend of personalities and organizing them, but it’s glorious,” Vanderpump exclusively told Us Weekly ahead of the season 2 premiere in April.
The season also marked Stassi’s return to reality TV. Bravo fans first met Stassi on Vanderpump Rules in 2013, when she was working as a server at Vanderpump’s Los Angeles restaurant and bar. She was fired from the show in 2020 after her past racially insensitive comments resurfaced.
Stassi, along with her husband, Beau Clark, arrived in Italy as “special VIPs” and viewers instantly noticed that her and Vanderpump’s banter was still intact.
“I love having somebody to play with. I don’t want to be the boss all the time. It’s fun to have somebody to banter with,” Vanderpump told Us in April of working with Stassi again. “I can’t be as casual with my staff as I would be with a friend, so to speak.”
Stassi even joined Vanderpump in May to host the season 2 Vanderpump Villa reunion. At the time, star Marciano Brunette played coy about the rumor that he hooked up with Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Demi Engemann when she and several other MomTok stars made cameos on the Hulu series.
“At first it was a physical attraction. I thought she was very beautiful. We have a really good connection,” Marciano recalled. “I threw it out there. That led to a two-hour conversation. There were genuine feelings that developed in that conversation.”
Demi, meanwhile, exclusively told Us in May that “nothing happened with Marciano” while she was in Italy.
She insisted that she only had eyes for her husband, Bret Engemann, adding, “At the expense of sounding rude, there wasn’t even a remote attraction to him. It sucks that women can’t be kind and friendly and even playful with men in this world without it being taken as, like, you’re open.”
Marciano, for his part, revealed that Demi wasn’t’ the only Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star he made a move on. “It wasn’t just Demi I was interested in,” he said during the season 2 reunion.
During Secret Lives of Mormon Wives season 2, which aired in May, it came to light that Marciano grew close with Jessi Ngatikaura. Marciano later claimed that he had sex with Jessi, who is married. Jessi, for her part, didn’t directly clear up the affair allegations, instead she teased during her show’s reunion in July that fans would see it play out on season 3.
While fans wait to see what transpires on both Vanderpump Villa and The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives season 3, Stassi has been giving glimpses at filming in England.
She has shared photos via her Instagram over the past month in the countryside, including moments in Oxford, England, and the Cotswolds.
“Cosplaying as a British aristocrat fam,” Stassi wrote via Instagram on Thursday, August 21, sharing photos with her husband, 45, and their two children, daughter Hartford, 4, and son Messer, 23 months.
Seasons 1 and 2 of Vanderpump Villa are currently streaming on Hulu.
