Twilight star Cam Gigandet was ordered to pay his ex-wife, Dominique Gigandet, child support after she claimed he moved to Texas and allegedly left her to take care of their kids full-time, Us Weekly can exclusively report.
On August 27, a Los Angeles Superior Court judge ordered the actor, 43, to pay his ex $4,626 per month in temporary child support. The exes, who wed in 2008 and split in 2022, share three children: Everleigh, 16, Rekker, 12, and Armie, 9.
The breakdown of the support is $925 for Everleigh, $1,388 for Rekker and $2,313 for Armie.
Cam, who appeared via Zoom for the hearing, was informed he will be on the hook for any unreimbursed medical expenses. In addition, he was instructed to turn over his tax return and recent pay stubs.
The judge also ordered Cam to update the court on his living situation and timeshare with the children.
On June 24, Dominique, 40, filed court docs claiming the custody arrangement had changed. She said they were sharing 50/50 custody until Cam moved to Texas on May 2. In a declaration, Dominique said, “So as of right now, I have 100 percent custody.”
In her recent financial filing, Dominique said she was self-employed as a graphic designer and spray tan artist. She told the court she was in the process of “starting [her] life over.”
She said her income varies wildly each month. Her declaration listed no real property. Dominique said her monthly expenses totaled $5,870 but $4,000 was paid by others.
The change in their custody and child support agreement comes one year after they hashed out a divorce settlement. In June 2024, Dominique and Cam agreed to share custody of the kids and split property. Cam also agreed to pay spousal support for a period of time, the amount being based on his income.
As for Cam, he revealed a new romance with an actress named Hannah James in January 2023. In September 2024, the actor announced they were expecting a child.
He shared a photo of a pregnant woman, tagged as James, captioned, “I could have absolutely nothing and still feel like the luckiest man in the world. I don’t know what the future is going to look like for us and for perhaps the first time, I am okay with that. For now I’ll just keep on doing what I do best, loving Hannah… and being Dad to 3, soon to be 4.”
On January 2, Hannah posted a photo of their newborn son, Dare Wylder James Gigandet. “Dare, Dare Bear, Darius Barius, D Bear, Little Bear, Bob, we love you so much your list of nicknames grows by the day. You made a ‘tricky’ 2024 worth every drop of blood sweat and tears,” James wrote.
Two days later, on James’ birthday, Cam wrote, “From the day you were born until this photo was taken as well as the day we met… 10,723 days passed…. worth the wait.”
Cam became a household name after starring as James in 2008’s Twilight. He went on to appear in Easy A with Emma Stone, Burlesque with Christina Aguilera and The Magnificent Seven with Denzel Washington. His most recent release was 2025’s Love Hurts starring Ke Huy Quan and Ariana DeBose.
