President Trump said Attorney General Pam Bondi should release “whatever she thinks is credible” on Jeffrey Epstein, amid a MAGA firestorm over FBI files related to the late sex offender.
“Anything that’s credible, I would say, let them have it,” he told reporters outside the White House on Tuesday as he prepared to board Air Force One.
“She’s handled it very well,” he added of Bondi.
“And it’s going to be up to her, whatever she thinks is credible, she should release.”
However, the President still poured cold water on hopes of any major revelations coming out of the files tied to Epstein, who died by suicide in his New York jail cell in 2019.
“I don’t understand why the Jeffrey Epstein case would be of interest to anybody,” he said. “It’s pretty boring stuff. It’s sordid, but it’s boring, and I don’t understand why it keeps going.”
