Travis Kelce is making sure to think of fiancée Taylor Swift ahead of his Sunday Night Football game.

Kelce, 36, arrived at the Sunday, October 12, game against the Detroit Lions at the Kansas City Chiefs’ Arrowhead Stadium sporting a plaid Louis Vuitton long-sleeve shirt, a pair of light colored pants and tinted shades.

Days before the match–up, Swift, 35, rocked a long-sleeve black shirt, a plaid skirt and a pair of brown knee-high boots complete with her signature red lip while out and about in New York City.

The appearances come more than one month after the couple, who began dating in summer 2023, announced their engagement.

“Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married,” the duo captioned a series of photos via Instagram in August. Swift’s gold old mine brilliant cut engagement ring designed by Kindred Lubeck of Artifex Fine Jewelry was on full display in one pic.

While recalling the proposal earlier this month, Swift confirmed that Travis popped the question after the twosome recorded an episode of his and brother Jason Kelce’s “New Heights” podcast — where she also revealed her 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl.

“I think, for Travis, the podcast was just sort a distraction, sort of ruse, to keep me not looking out the windows of the house,” Swift explained during her appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. “Every time he does the podcast, it’s not like he blacks out all the windows.”

This time, however, Swift shared that there were “fully, like, blackout drapes on every single window of the whole house.”

“I kinda realized that he’s walking around sorta nervous about the podcast, [saying], ‘My heart is racing. … I know how much this means to you. I just really want this to be what you’d hoped it would be.’ Because we’d been talking about doing the podcast and announcing the album,” she recalled. “And he’s like, ‘My heart’s just racing.’ I’ve never seen this dude nervous. Ever. He’s professionally not a nervous person.”

Swift shared that Kelce asked, “Do you wanna go and just walk around the backyard and have a glass of wine?” She replied, “I’m always gonna wanna do that.”

It was at that moment when Swift realized “why all the windows were curtained and why he was nervous,” she said. “It was the best possible-case scenario.”

Since releasing The Life of a Showgirl earlier this month, Swift has revealed that several tracks were inspired by Travis — including “Opalite.”

“He loves that one,” Swift said of Travis during a Friday interview on the U.K.’s Capital FM radio station. “I have favorite words, favorite phrases [and] things I’ll put in an endless file of lyrics that I’m constantly going to go and cherry-pick from when I’m writing.”

Swift went on to add “opalite” to that list. “Opal can be man-made just like diamonds, and so, Travis’ birthstone is an opal,” she shared. “I’ve always fixated on that, [and] I’ve always loved that stone. I thought it was kind of a cool metaphor that, like, it’s a man-made opal and happiness can also be man-made, too. That’s what the song is about, the juxtaposition of those two.”
