Dean McDermott revealed his estranged wife Tori Spelling‘s alleged income as their divorce moves forward.

An income and expense report obtained by Us Weekly was filed in Los Angeles Superior Court on Friday, September 5, and offered new insight on McDermott and Spelling’s financial statuses more than a year after Spelling filed for divorce in March 2024. In his filing, McDermott reported that estranged wife Spelling’s income ranged from “$3,000 to $75,000 per month, depending on the job.”

While he once had a busy TV career in his native Canada, McDermott acknowledged in his expense report that “acting and producing work has decreased drastically” in recent years. McDermott clarified that he has pivoted from acting to working as an alcohol and drug counselor since October 2023, where he earns $3,800 per month. According to Friday’s court filing, McDermott’s monthly expenses exceed his counseling income at $3,980.

In another section of his income report, McDermott reported that his girlfriend, Lily Calo, earns $600 per month. The former Chopped Canada host went public with his and Calo’s relationship six months after separating from Spelling, after the new couple were spotted holding hands in Los Angeles in October 2023.

McDermott’s attorney disclosed on his behalf that he has an outstanding loan with City National Bank for $200,000 that is past due, as well as past due credit card debts of $2,500 with Capital One and Care Credit for $12,000.

His attorneys listed that McDermott additionally owes $1,200 in past due payments for dental procedures.

Elsewhere, McDermott confirmed that he currently has custodial time with his son Beau, 8. (Spelling and McDermott also share sons Liam, 18, and Finn, 13, as well as daughters Stella, 17, and Hattie, 13. McDermott shares an older son, Jack, 25, with ex-wife Mary Jo Eustace.)

Us first reported about Spelling and McDermott’s massive debt over an unpaid loan with City National Bank in June, which has now been referenced in McDermott’s expense report.

City National filed a lawsuit in December 2016 over a $400,00 loan taken out in 2012, though the bank claimed that Spelling and McDermott never paid off the debt. The bank specified that it was owed $190,000 when its lawsuit was initially filed in 2016, but updated the court in June 2025 that the sum had ballooned to $395,729.82 due to interest accumulated over the years.

Spelling and McDermott have not made an appearance in the case.

It has been a rocky past few years for the estranged couple. McDermott announced via Instagram that he’d separated from Spelling in June 2023 after nearly 18 years of marriage.

“It’s with great sadness and a very very heavy heart that after 18 years together and 5 amazing children, that @torispelling and I have decided to go our separate ways and start a new journey of our own,” McDermott wrote in a now-deleted statement. “We will continue to work together as loving parents and guide and love our children through this difficult time. We ask that you all respect our privacy as we take this time to surround our family with love and work our way through this. Thank you all for your support and kindness. 🙏.”

Spelling subsequently filed for divorce in March 2024, citing irreconcilable differences as the cause of the split. At the time, Spelling requested that the court award her spousal support and legal fees, as well as sole custody of their children and proposed joint legal custody. McDermott responded by asking the court to award him spousal support from Spelling and grant him joint custody of their kids.
