The forecast for Dylan Dreyer’s birthday included smiles and surprises.

Over the weekend, the Today show cohost celebrated her 44th trip around the sun by enjoying quality time alongside Hoda Kotb and her family.

“Thank you all for the birthday wishes!!” Dreyer wrote via Instagram on Sunday, August 3. “I was spoiled by the best surprises ever and felt like a princess!”

In her collage of photos, the NBC News meteorologist was seen wearing a “birthday girl” sash as she received hugs from her three sons. (Dreyer shares Calvin, 8, Oliver, 5, and Rusty, 3, with estranged husband Brian Fichera.)

Another video clip showed Kotb, 60, and Fichera, 38, singing “Happy Birthday” to Dreyer as the kids encouraged their mom to blow out a candle.

Dreyer and Fichera’s reunion comes after the couple announced their split on July 18 after more than 10 years of marriage.

“For many years, I have shared my family with you all — the highs and lows. The ups and downs. And all of the blessings and beautiful memories in between,” her statement began. “I am incredibly grateful for the support and love you’ve given me through it all. For that reason, I want to share with you that a few months ago, Brian and I made the decision to separate.”

Dryer made it clear that the pair will remain friends as they coparent their growing boys.

“We began as friends and we will remain the closest of friends,” she said. “Most importantly, we will continue to coparent our three wonderful boys together with nothing but love and respect for one another. Thank you as always for your support.”

This isn’t the first time Dryer and Fichera have reunited since announcing the end of their marriage. The pair supported their son, Calvin, at a golf tournament on July 26.

In addition, Dreyer recently shared photos from a family vacation, which included Fichera and members of her extended family.

“Find joy in things around you, take a deep breath, count to 10,” she wrote via Instagram when quoting Misty the Cloud, the character from her New York Times bestselling children’s books. “You’ll soon find you’re living under sunny skies again.”

After celebrating her birthday with family and friends, Dreyer went back to work — but not directly to the Today show studios in New York City.

“Birthday over, back to work!” she wrote via Instagram on Sunday while cleaning the backyard of what appeared to be a lake house. “Although power washing is fun and very satisfying!”
