Some 200,000 people gathered in Glendale, Arizona, on Sunday to pay tribute to slain conservative activist Charlie Kirk, who was fatally shot during a Turning Point USA tour event earlier this month.

Fans of the MAGA icon filled the State Farm Stadium hosting the memorial, which saw President Trump, key members of his administration, and X owner Elon Musk join to say goodbye to Kirk, 31.

During the funeral, Kirk’s widow, Erika, gave tear-filled remarks and promised to carry on his mission, touting her husband as a “warrior” with “incomplete work but not with unfinished business.”

The president also boasted Kirk’s work as a great contribution to the MAGA movement.

“I know I speak for everyone here today when I say that none of us will ever forget Charlie Kirk, and neither now will history,” Trump said.

Here are the five emotional moments:

Widow forgives her husband’s suspected shooter

During her emotional speech, Erika chose to forgive Tyler Robinson, 22, the man charged with the murder of her husband.

“He wanted to save young men. Just like the one who took his life,” Erika said. “I forgive him because it was what Christ did. And what Charlie would do.”

Trump touts Charlie Kirk as one of ‘America’s greatest patriots’

Trump celebrated Kirk as “one of the brightest lights of our time,” and as someone whom neither he, nor his supporters will ever forget.

“He’s a martyr now,” the president added. “None of us will ever forget Charlie Kirk. And neither now will history. He will live forever in the chronicle of America’s greatest patriots.”

Trump and Elon Musk bury the hatchet and shake hands

During the funeral service, Trump reunited with Musk — marking their first public interaction together since their fallout earlier this year.

Musk, 54, was spotted shaking hands with Trump and talking amicably with him since their public blowout where the Tesla founder criticized the president’s “Big Beautiful Bill.” Prior to his death, Kirk had wanted Trump and Musk to make amends.

Both men later posted photos, saying they did it “for Charlie.”

Charlie Kirk’s mentor recounts horrifying final moments

Prominent Christian radio host Frank Turek described the final moments he had with his protege after he was fatally shot and wheeled away by first responders.

“His face was looking at mine, but he wasn’t looking at me. He was looking past me right into eternity,” Turek said. “And if it’s any comfort at all, I learned that Charlie felt no pain.

“We couldn’t save him. I want you to know Charlie right now is in heaven,” he added.

Trump comforts Erika Kirk at her husband’s funeral

Following his impassioned speech, Trump called on Erika to join him on stage, with the two sharing a hug as they mourned Kirk.

During the embrace, the crying widow closed her eyes, bowed her head and gave the “I love you” sign in American Sign Language.
