An enraged Texas man currently embroiled in an immigration probe is accused of savagely attacking crew and passengers on an American Airlines flight last week after flying to Washington, DC, so he could “speak to President Trump,” the feds said.
Asterius Rulamka, in his 50s, was arrested after he allegedly unleashed the violent, mid-air assault just moments before the plane was set to land at Washington Reagan Airport last Wednesday night, an FBI affidavit states.
The alleged perp got out of his seat, stormed to the back of the plane and started screaming at a male flight attendant that he was going to “f–k him up” as soon as they landed, according to the filing.
When other passengers took out their phones to film the ordeal, Rulamka allegedly lashed out — ripping one man’s glasses and hat off before pummeling him in the arms and face.
He then tried to swing at another male passenger who managed to dodge the blow but injured his hand in the process, the feds said.
Rulamka allegedly started running up and down the aisle before he was eventually restrained by the crew and three passengers, according to the affidavit, which was first reported by CBS News.
“Upon the flight’s arrival, the defendant made several statements, including that he had come to DC to speak to President Trump,” the feds wrote in the filing.
“When asked why he wanted to speak to the president, he stated that he was ‘mad.’”
A criminal history check uncovered that Rulamka, who has a Texas driver’s license but was born in Tanzania, was flagged to the Department of Homeland Security in 2014 for overstaying his visa, the affidavit alleges.
“Immigration proceedings are pending,” the court papers state.
The plane was en route from Wichita, Kansas, at the time — the same flight path as the doomed American Airlines flight that crashed into an Army helicopter in DC last month, killing 67 people.
Rulamka was slapped with misdemeanor assault charges in the wake of his alleged mid-air meltdown.
The Post reached out to DHS and ICE about Rulamka’s immigration status but didn’t hear back immediately.
