Some Taylor Swift fans have read between the lines when it comes to her new song “Wood” — but the singer’s mom, Andrea Swift, has not.

“I think that she thinks that that song is about superstitions,” Swift, 35, quipped during a Monday, October 6, appearance on SiriusXM’s The Morning Mash Up. “Which it absolutely is.”

Swift has made headlines for the song from her The Life of a Showgirl album, which dropped on Friday, October 3. While the lyrics are up for interpretation, it seems the track is about, well, Travis Kelce’s rather impressive penis.

“Forgive me, it sounds cocky / He ah-matized me and opened my еyes,” the song’s chorus reads. “Redwood tree, it ain’t hard to see / His love was thе key that opened my thighs.”

Several social media videos — including one from Barstool Sports’ founder Dave Portnoy — have gone viral with people reacting to the tune.

“That’s the joy of the double entendre. That song, you could read that song for people and it just goes right over their head,” Swift continued during Monday’s radio show appearance. “That song, you see in that song what you wanna see in that song.”

Multiple tracks from Swift’s 12th studio album are about her fiancé, Kelce, 36. The couple took their relationship public in September 2023, and Swift announced in August that they were engaged.

Swift said it’s “hard to just pinpoint” the moment she fell in love with Kelce during Monday’s SiriusXM appearance.

“We’re on the radio and I’m just getting shy all of a sudden,” the singer joked. “But you know, it’s all turned out great. And, he’s one of those people where as soon as you meet him, you kind of know he’s the best. And you kind of know there’s no one else on the planet that’s ever been even remotely similar to him.”

Swift referred to her fiancé as “one of one” and told the radio show hosts that they’d “absolutely love him” if they ever met Kelce.

“A lot of people who have known me for a very long time, kind of just clocked [that Kelce is The One],” Swift continued. “I don’t know. It’s one of those things where you guys all just sensed it and you were right.”

The Morning Mash Up host Nicole Ryan also brought up Swift’s Instagram post from July 2023 — which was full of some spooky premonitions.

“Happy belated Independence Day from your local neighborhood, independent girlies. See you tonight. Kansas City,” Swift captioned the post, which included photos of her with longtime best friend Selena Gomez. While Swift is now engaged — to someone who plays for the Kansas City Chiefs — Gomez, 33, married Benny Blanco last month.

“Sow deranged is that post? I think back on that, I’m like, there’s no way,” Swift said on Monday. “Because if we break it down, I’m in this picture with a bunch of girls, a lot, not just me and Selena. A few of the other girls found their person right after that.”

She added, “The fact that it was right before the Kansas City show, where I’d been like ‘a Happy Independence Day from your local, single girlies’ or something like that. And then, I the next day go and play in Kansas City. Not knowing that Travis was gonna come to the show. It’s unreal.”

Swift continued to gush over her relationship, saying that she’s so “grateful” that Kelce exists.

“Also, how happy I am for my friends when they find happiness. It’s just, like, Selena was, like, the most beautiful, not just the most beautiful bride. The most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen,” Swift said. “Just so happy and she deserves it so much. And you only wish that for people, you know?”
