Ciara Miller’s past summers could have looked a lot different had West Wilson not “called dibs” on her.

“Claiming ‘dibs’ on a girl that someone’s known for 24 hours is insane,” Ciara, 29, said on the Wednesday, March 26, Summer House aftershow. “And they didn’t even know each other. He’s like, ‘West is my boy.’ [When] you walked in for that day, you knew him for 30 minutes. So, what are you talking about?”

West, 31, and Jesse Solomon both joined Summer House during season 8, which filmed in 2023 and aired in 2024, with the sports journalist quickly taking an interest in her. (While they dated during West’s debut summer, he broke up with Ciara within post-show.)

“I just don’t understand men and I am so grateful every day I wake up and see my vagina,” Ciara quipped on the aftershow. “Because I would never want to be anything other than a woman.”

During season 9, which filmed in 2024 and is currently airing, Jesse, 30, further expressed his interest in Ciara while latest flame Lexi Wood was out of town.

“The true Jesse Solomon is always out,” he said on the aftershow, which West playfully corrected to be “the horny Jesse Solomon.”

Jesse further defended coming onto Ciara.

“At the end of the day, I have no filter,” Jesse stated. “I say what I’m thinking, and I’m sorry, but that’s what I was thinking. … We [had] kissed last summer.” (In season 8, Ciara asked West if she could kiss Jesse, who agreed before the two costars shared a brief peck.)

Over in Ciara’s confessional, she revealed what could have happened with Jesse without any aforementioned dibs getting in the way.

“I think we do have a flirty relationship,” Ciara said on Wednesday. “To be honest, I think it would have still played out the same, like, I think so. I adore Jesse [and] I love him so much, but I do think that me and West had a different type of chemistry that wasn’t as aligned with Jesse.”

West ultimately pulled the plug with Ciara over his lingering fears of commitment.

“I don’t have a relationship with him, and it stayed pretty consistent throughout the summer,” Ciara exclusively told Us Weekly in November 2024. “I don’t feel like we’re in a position where we need to be friends. It’s just kind of coexisting.”

At the time, Ciara explained that dating wasn’t on her list of priorities.

“Right now, I’m not looking for anything,” she told Us. “I think that like I’m focused on myself and my own career and my job and [my cat] Jasper and like if someone catches my attention and is emotionally intelligent and available and worth a damn, then maybe I’ll give them a shot.”

More recently, Ciara addressed her apparent drama with Lexi, 27, over Jesse.

“In my head — and maybe this is just my world — I don’t really see it as a big deal,” Ciara told Us before revealing what she thinks of Lexi and Jesse as a couple. “Lexi coins herself as a lover girl. I don’t think it was uncharted territory for her. I was kind of like, ‘Jesse, just as a word of advice, pump the brakes. I’m not gonna tell you what to do, [but I] have walked in your shoes once or twice.’”
