A Bay Area restaurant was shuttered by health officials after a TikTok video went viral showing a worker slamming frozen ribs on the filthy pavement — next to a garbage bin and mop bucket.

The stomach-churning clip, which has garnered 5 million views since it was posted Wednesday, shows the worker repeatedly smashing a giant rack of ribs on the dirty ground of an alleyway in an attempt to break them up.

Eagle-eyed Reddit users uncovered the unhygienic eatery as Pho Love in Milpitas — prompting Santa Clara County health officials to visit the eatery on Thursday and uncover a slew of health violations.

In a statement, Santa Clara County Environmental Health said investigators discovered major violations, including a cockroach infestation, a lack of any method to properly sanitize utensils and equipment and a failure by staff to demonstrate basic food-safety knowledge.

Yelp quickly filled with warnings from users.

“If you like your food prepared on the floor, then I recommend this place,” one wrote.

“I don’t know what kind of culinary philosophy this establishment follows, but judging by the ‘kitchen annex’ out back, I’m guessing it’s post apocalyptic street survival meets biohazard chic,” another quipped.

The owner responded repeatedly, claiming the employee acted alone and alleging they conspired to harm the business.

The facility was also cited for failing to follow proper food safety knowledge regarding the handling of the reported incident.

“Pho Love has been closed until the operator can correct the major violations and demonstrate acceptable food handling practices,” a spokesperson said.

Pho Love didn’t immediately return a message seeking comment.
