Participating in Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test will quickly remind every contestant to never take the simple things for granted.
Before a new group of celebrities put their mental and physical strength to the test on Fox’s reality show, Us Weekly wanted to ask the cast what they did the second they got home and finished the competition.
According to many contestants, they just wanted a good, decent meal.
“I’m a foodie, and I love to eat,” NFL player Randall Cobb shared with Us before the Thursday, September 25, season premiere. “Being able to come back and have sushi and go to my favorite spots? I needed that.”
Mark Estes and Brianna “Chickenfry” Lapaglia were craving real food as soon as they landed back in their hometowns. For model Chanel Iman, she couldn’t even wait until the flight was over.
“A cheeseburger at the airport was like, ‘What?!’” she joked to Us. “This cheeseburger is the best cheeseburger I’ve ever had.”
After competing on a previous season of Special Forces, Savannah Chrisley shared a glimpse into how difficult the food situation was for so many contestants.
“The food was terrible and especially when you’re in such [a] high [and] very stressful situation,” she told Us in October 2023. “I’m like, ‘I need food, I need sleep, I need a shower.’ And none of those things you really got. So that was by far the toughest for me.”
Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test returns to Fox Thursday, September 25, at 8 p.m. ET. Keep reading to see what the cast of season 4 missed the most:
Teresa and Gia Giudice
While Gia desperately wanted “a shower and a frickin’ bar of soap,” Teresa couldn’t wait to get back to her beauty routine.
“I would say skincare,” she told Us. “I think from all the dirt — we were around a lot of dirt — I think I was breaking out. It was not good for my skin.”
Shawn Johnson and Andrew East
As soon as she got back home to Nashville, Tennessee, Shawn ran straight to the shower. Her husband, meanwhile, was a little hungry.
“Food with any type of flavor on it was what I was so excited about,” Andrew told Us. “The food there was so bland.”
Eric Decker and Jessie James Decker
After sleeping on cots, Jessie couldn’t wait to get back to her warm, cozy bed. As for Eric, he wanted to chow down on his favorite meals.
“Mine was food,” he said. “We had sushi the first night, but then steak and potatoes. I crushed a cheeseburger.”
Eva Marcille
“Moisturizer!” the former Real Housewives of Atlanta star told Us. “We are in 115-degree weather in full military garbs. It is as hot as hot can be. My eyes got cornea burn. I didn’t even know you can get sunburn in your eyes. To moisturize my face and my lips? It was heaven.”
Kody Brown
“I’ll be honest with you, [I missed] the presence of my wife,” Kody shared. “I really came home as almost like a spiritual journey. You’re going to make me emotional.”
Jussie Smollett
“I was looking forward to seeing my fiancé [Jabari Redd],” Jussie revealed. “I really was looking forward to just seeing him. He was the first person I called and FaceTimed.”
Brittany Cartwright
“My son [Cruz] for sure,” The Valley star told Us. “But not having your cell phone is wild because you’re always used to checking it and checking the time and little things like that.”
Christie Pearce Rampone
“Having a nice cup of coffee was nice when I got home,” the soccer player confessed.
