Sneaky boyfriend caught cheating thanks to product most women use every day: ‘I knew someone had touched it’

There are quite a few unexpected ways a person can catch their significant other cheating — but this one has to take the cake.

Like many women, Wanessa Moura has a strict morning and nighttime skincare routine, according to Jam Press. She keeps her products organized and tidy — and knows exactly how much of each she has used.

“I’m obsessed with organization,” Moura told NeedToKnow.

“I know exactly how much is left of each cream, where every bottle goes, what’s sealed, what’s half-used.”

Some might call this being meticulous — others call it simple girl math.

And this close attention to detail is what helped the 31-year-old catch her conniving boyfriend.

After returning home from a work trip, as Moura was about to do her routine, she noticed something sketchy with one of her products.

“When I saw one of the jars with a loose cap and a different texture, I knew someone had touched it. And it wasn’t me,” the influencer said.

“Someone had messed with my products, and I knew something was wrong.”

Although at the time she wasn’t living with her ex, he did have a key to her place — but she was adamant he wasn’t the one using her products.

“He [my ex] would never know how to use that stuff on his own,” she told the outlet.

“He was the rough type. The kind who thought anything beyond soap was nonsense, and who wouldn’t even wear sunscreen or moisturizer.”

Knowing this, one could only assume Moura’s ex had gone over her home with his side piece while she was away — and it was she who was the culprit using the skincare products.

After questioning her man, he eventually admitted to having a fling behind her back.

“Being cheated on is already bad enough. But using my expensive products without permission? That, to me, is unforgivable,” Moura said.

Used skincare products are not the only way women are catching their unfaithful men in the act.

One wife discovered her husband cheating through his teeth brushing routine.

Paul Jones, a private investigator at ARF Investigators, had a client who downloaded an electric toothbrush app to get her kids to properly brush their pearly whites.

Little did anyone realize that the app tracked every family member’s brushing routine.

“Over time, the client noticed their partner’s brushing history was being logged at odd times, times when they were supposedly at work,” Jones said, according to the Mirror.
